Just open up Itunes. Then click ' Restore'. Thats it. You will lose all of your data from your ipod but Itunes will load the music/videos/photos back to your ipod.

NOTE : DO NOT UPDATE YOUR IPOD. YOUR FIRMWARE IS GOOD ENOUGH. TRUST ME :)
