This happened to me once. I was playing B-flat blues in jazz band at the end of the year and all the other drummers started taking down the set while I was still playing. I didn't sound nearly as good though. lol

Disclaimer - this is badass and his ear and chops are great, and it's very musical. That said, it's all basically the same lick. RLRLRR(K)LRLRLL(K) with various orchestrations. I don't think this is on par with some of the gospel chops stuff, or some of the guys who really push rhythm and really dissect and reconstruct motifs.

I got the snare and it sounds great. The only thing is I think Akira tunes his way way high. I don't think I like mine tuned so high. Are there any other drummers out there that have actually tuned a snare to his pitch? It's up there. I love the snare though. It sounds great.

dont listen to that dumbass. triggers turn an acoustic drum into an electronic one. when the drum is hit a sound sample comes through an amp/pa system. there often used live over tuning each indvidual drum. the man in the video is not using triggers
