  • yeah! very amazing!

  • Thats one of the most masterfull performances ive heard on a theremin, thank you.

  • Ohhh man... just visited your site, I am pretty sure now it is you... Remember touring Montreal circa 1980? You were quite a sensation with the young ladies, and a nice chap to talk to, I was photojournalist at the time and got to spent some time with you.... that is if I am not mistaken.

  • Very good, nice pitch, I should practice my Etherwave more. Hey hold on, I used to know a singer Peter Pringle some 30 years ago that would look just like you today ... and from your singing and smile at the end, I think it's you.

  • Someone please explain this instrument to me.

  • @IvysPanicRoom google it

  • not Beat-less xD

  • Sung and played beautifully! This has always been one of my favourite Beatles songs, and you have made it a favourite even more! It's truly amazing how you can sing and play the Theremin at the same time! I can only imagine how difficult that is... it takes a true musician with true talent to do that!

  • He's tossing off a ghost.

  • Wow these seem hard to play

  • Fantastic. I`m really impressed !!!

  • The long and wavering tone.

  • Too good to believe it. I never heard someone playing the Theremin so brillant and precise.

    Very, very good job.

    I really enjoy this.

    Best regards from Germany

  • it sounds like opera ;o

  • this is fucking gnarly..right on chap

  • Superb stuff, Peter. Really great! Your smile at the end says it all. Thank you so much for sharing these moments so freely. All power & kudos to you, my man!

  • magia

  • Super! Nádhera :-) *****

  • Hell yeah man. This is awesome!

  • I am very glad I discovered your voice and your sensitivity: great colour, great emotions!

I love very much your interpretation of "As when the dove" from Acis and Galatea by Händel: brilliant echoes, as in Joan Sutherland's performance of 1959!

    With the best compliments, Francesco

  • I've never heard a human voice combination with the theremin. Your video, voice and plays the theremin are excellent. This music moves my mind and soul. Thank you very much. Greetings from Poland.

  • Did you arrange it differently? Some parts are a bit different... BUT STILL AWESOME

  • BEAUTIFULL!!!

JOHN LENNON COULD BE CRYING NOW!!!

  • @zwelon Paul McCartney wrote The Long and Winding Road.

  • nice backdrop dude hahah!

  • @Jaxen23 Not a backdrop, it's a green screen.

  • Didn't know you were also an accomplished singer, Peter -- excellent job.

  • Wow! Nicely done! I love the background you used in this video too!

  • your playing at the theremin is impressive, but your voice is even more amazing... well done!

  • excellent congratulations!!!

  • Very cool. Respect.

  • WOW. Brilliant. Love it.

  • awesome

  • WOW, Peter.

  • My husband and I enjoy your voice very much, and the experimental successes you've shared on your channel. I rather secretly hope you'll record an album sometime. My husband especially is extremely interested with what you'd do with a longer clip of Beowulf (history buff there, hehe). Call it a Yule Wish. ;) Hope your holidays are memorable!

  • I love "Across the Universe" backgrounds of this and the Star Trek Video as well as the sad sweet vibrations of theremin and voice. Thanks Peter.

  • Ah, Peter, you've done the impossible! I believe this is the only example of someone actually singing and playing the theremin at the same time. Well, playing the theremin MELODICALLY while singing MELODICALLY at the same time. There have been noise makers do both at the same time, but the result was anything but a recognizable melody! Bravo!

  • Nice one, Peter!

  • You're definitely on the right track. Every part of the body and the surroundings are part of the instrument and must either remain motionless or become part of the performance. I see Peter solves this dilemma by singing between theremin parts, remaining motionless otherwise. Even moving his mouth without singing would have an effect on the theremin instrument.

  • Wonderful playing, as always! Thanks for the video.

I wonder why the theremin is so unusually difficult to play while singing, even for very skilled and experienced player, when other instruments (such as guitar or piano) can be played while singing. Maybe theremin playing activates neural circuits that are needed for singing?
