There's a type of justice in this world when missionaries are killed by vampire bats. It seems right somehow.

WRONG SCIENCE IS WRONG, DAVID WARNER!
And to think this movie seemed to intelligent up until now, then they try to force feed me a huge steaming pile guano about the feeding habits of vampire bats and their lethality to humans. This makes the mutant mercury bear seem downright plausible. Hell, I would even buy mutant mercury bats, but no. I FEEL SO BETRAYED BY YOU, MOVIE. </3

the bats strike was a nice scene, specially considering that back then special effects were very limited
