Nice! Long ago we considered producing one of these for PacSci Seattle, but didn't know if water would keep it stable against jamming by tilting diagonally. The sideways pressures tend to cancel out. Was there a trick to it, or did it just work fine the first time out?
Cool.. How did you make that red car disappear?

@ryley92
Good luck picking it up, if it is really granite, it is usually very heavy

My concern would be that someone would steal the inner ball
vvillem9 2 months ago
Are you sure your math is right. Only 800lbs? Im just being sarcastic because it sure looks heavier than that

Why the fuck did you people add bubble noises? It's pointless

Place it next to a kindergarden, kids will have much fun stopping the ball with their fingers.

Why do I feel like the Egyptians knew how to do this? That is so cool.

Would be nice even without the globe ball.
But then people will climb inside and do funny things.

it seems that large granite ball rolling around in the ring would be a hazard. Has anyone stuck their hand in there?
jaredef 4 months ago
@jaredef the one that sticks his hand in there deserves to get it crushed.

Very cool, but how will you keep people from getting their fingers crushed when play with the globe?

wow i cant beleave that how can this ring turn with water can you tell me how please?
fossilmarble 11 months ago
@fossilmarble A pump supplies water pressure which supports the ring and pushes it in one direction, causing it to roll.
