I got to see them live on the Inside tour and this song sounded phenomenal!! This band is incredible and they had a run of awesome albums - Freedom, Power House, Tales of Wonder, Highlands, Inside. I mean not many artists, Christian or otherwise, can have that many albums in a row that are very popular; sometimes it's hit or miss but with White Heart they really grew and out did themselves over and over again.

I have never heard this song before, when was it written? My oldest kids and I were lucky enough to see these guys twice in the nineties, I wish my younger ones could see them live. One of the times was at the Sonshine Fest, and it was awesome to be able to meet and talk to them, and even get pictures with the kids. Very refreshing to meet musicians that don't have the "rock star" attitude and have a positive message.

Ok I love this song and this video is great! =) I used to listen to Whiteheart all the time growing up.

I have been wondering for a long time though who those little girls are? They were in another Christian music video around the same time as this. They were little angels I believe. The song lyrics had something in it like "Sweet angel" by someone I don't remember. I don't remember it anymore. Wish I knew though. =) I loved that song.

Whiteheart started as "more metal" and then followed the trend to this Alice in Chains/STP kind of sound and look.

This song rules and this is the first time I ever saw the video for it. I don't get the third word on the forehead though? The first is trust then second is expect or "wait for" and the third is Carus? He was just a roman emperor. That's not even a real latin word that means anything.

Awesome! This is the first time i've seen this video. Kind of hard to find. hats off to you! I originally ignored this record for no particular reason but dicovered it recently. "Inside" is a great cd but I really like "redemption" cd. "love is everything" and "honestly" are some great not overproduced songs and stand out in thier simplicity.

I liked Inside. Alice and Chains and Soundgarden were big at this time. Definitely more of a "Bride" sound from at least this song and a couple others from this album. I always really liked "Find A Way" from this album. That song had a more traditional "Highlands"-like White Heart vibe.

I had a hard time listening to Inside but finally found it to be the gem it is. It's hard to see these guys go from progressive to hard rock. The video reminds me a lot of Bride's worm video.

Well I can see some symbolisms. The poisoned apples reps Sin. The "mad hatter" looking guy reps Satan. He teases us along with the temptation, which we think we enjoy, but only for a time. When we finally "get the apple." we realize that a single bite is never enough. so we keep pursuing the thing that kills us...

From Whiteheart's forgotten last album. This is great stuff. Along way from "Carry On" and "Let Your First Thought Be Love", eh? Isn't that Steve Taylor playing the weird guy in the hat? This has all the feel of a Steve Taylor video. Awesome. No wonder Whiteheart had to go to a secular label, Curb, to do this - it was too cool for Christian labels 10 years ago.

No, this is from Inside, which came out in 1995. Their last album was Redemption, which came out in 1997 - and that was pretty much their most introspective and artistically vital record. Too bad it was also their most ignored.
