1- While listening to music in the music player, can you multi task? For example, can you listen to a track and text at the same time?

2- When you press that button to open up the touchpad and enter numbers, can that ever be used as texting too?

Why are people STILL impressed with cell phones? I'll sum them ALL up for you. Tiny screen, cheap plastic casing, TINY keyboard, uncomfortable to hold, and really doesn't last long. Although, I don't think you completely get the whole concept of a mobile phone, I can tell you you're wrong about the camera size. A camera with 2 mega pixels can produce a 1600 x 1200 print (which is big. Go look up a 1600 x 1200 wallpaper).

I TOTALLY get what a cell phone is. I've owned a BlackBerry, and I've had the Palm Trio. But they are all JUST over-hyped phones! They can put a camera on it, they can make it play some music, but it's just a phone which you will be charged A FORTUNE to use. And yes - I get about the pixel dimensions. But the color ALWAYS looks washed out, and the photos look VERY grainy (even at 2mp). The cell phone "hype" is blown WAY out of proportion. I don't need to talk on the phone while at a stop light!
