@FuturePilotGrrrl: x-plane itself has tremendous graphics, however, the recording software has a much lower quality, like this video. You should try X-Plane. MSFS got discontinued, and X-Plane is a million times better looking and running. It is also so much more realistic and not absurdly easy. So swallow that unnecessary pride, and try X-Plane yourself! Unless you are biased (which you are), you will LOVE X-Plane!!! PS: X-Plane is not "crap"

I'll admit I hated X plane after playing FSX. the controls are so complicated. but the flight dynamics were amazingly realistic

I will admit FSX compared to X-plane v8 is visually better but x-plane v8 was on FS 2004 level. Compare FSX to X-plane v9. But X-plane still beats FSX at the flight engine even older versions.

FSX has great graphics but X-Plane kick its ass wich its flights dynamics hehe. You don't need a PMDG or Wilco to have realism with X-Plane :)

Can you get photographic scenary for X-Plane? I used that when I was doing my real flight training. We should really feature X-plane on our show sometime as everyone talks about it being more realistic than FS.

No there is no way to get this for free stop trying to leech off life and get things for free when people put hard work and companies invested millions to make the software. Just because you have no money now does not mean you cant get it save some up or dont spend money on stuff you do not need.

They used to carry X plane at Best Buy , that's where I got my version 7.xx back when it had no global scenery and was so bug infested it wasn't playable for long periods of time. It's come a long way since then and hopefully keeps evolving. Maybe Microsoft's paying off the stores to carry only their "flight sim".
