"Miracles" are there to impress people and to make them enthusiast about religion. Now that scientific method exists, we can prove all miracles are false. But religion and spirituality will not die because of this. They will just rid themselves of these impurities that were put there to impress the masses.

has any baba/swami/matha/matham/pooja/­bhakti/punyam/papam/purity/san­ctity/piousness/sacredness etc (these are all myths and mysteries) created any of those devices?

only science and scientific temper has given rise to all these modern inventions.
