Just strum an E with an occasional G note played on the low E for the keyboard solo.

Both the riff and the guitar solo are played in the E Minor Pentatonic scale I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong).

Amp was just a 15W Marshall with lots of bass and treble and little mids. I used little gain as well, but I played loud to make up for it. Effects were a Digitech Whammy IV and a Dunlop Crybaby Wah. Hope that helps.

the riff at 1:53 doesn't have whammy thats when jack uses his big muff-sustainer mod pedal to get that trademark sound. I applaud your playing man the only comment i wanna make is when doing the riff at 1:53 ascend the low E pentatonic scale and then this will be perfect man.

haha no problem man I've never played a big muff so I don't know what it can do..Sometimes for that riff I set my digitech whammy on 1 octave down in the whammy section or in the first mode of the harmony section..it's cool to play around..just keep on rockin' in the free world!!!
