Well, I came up with my own version, but you inspire me to make my own, I made mine with oatmeal( because I just happen to have a brand new container, and seeds (sunflower, pumpin & almonds) and added dark chocolate chips to make it more fun. for the wet ingredients I adde 2 egg whites, vanilla, apple sauce and a splash of skim milk, and my husband and kids ate'em in one night, :) I might put my own video too. :) I will try your recipe soon.
YUUUUM!!!I love granola:P Must try those! Allison was telling me about the sunflower butter.I want to try that to.Always looking for new things to try. Thanks for sharing.Todd
I wish I'd have watched this video before I went to the store and bought some snack bars for my daughters. Those look sooooo good and simple to make. I'm going to try those this week! (I have all that I need). I'm excited. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Yeah, they were actually really simple. A couple of ingredients, warm up the sunflower seed butter and honey in the microwave, mix it with the dry and ingredients and stick it in your oven for 10 minutes and done.
Thanks for watching and let me know how they came out!
Brilliant idea! Hopefully, i'll have the boldness to try these soon. You know what i mean! lol. I'm so thankful for all these ideas though: some for now and some for later! lol
I know. You'll get there. You'll see. I just got to the point where I could start bringing chips back into my household. Baked chips but still....there was a time where I'd open a bag and just wouldn't stop.
Those look awesome and I love that the calories are low. I would have to leave the honey out ,but I think it woud be fine. I love the taste of Sunflower butter...so this is a winner for Joe and I:)
The sunflower butter was so good. Never had it before. I think it's a keeper though. High in fat though so I would probably keep spreading out through an entire recipe but still...so good!
We just finished our oatmeal-dried fruit-nuts bars that I make all the time. This time they turned out really good. I should make a video! Love home made bars. I've never done what you are making today... should give it a try. Tx!

The way they did it in Good Eats is one flat rectangular piece on a cookie sheet. And then chop it up afterwards into bars.

Good Eats made an episode once about home made bars, complete with nutrition facts. Very good watch.
