I use Windows Movie Maker, which has two effects called "Fade In From White" and "Fade In From Black". Adding the effects to the clips results in the black and white flashes.
i have windows movie maker also, but how do you get the music to go from loud to soft? like when the music is playing then it goes soft and you hear the voices, and then the music starts up again. how do you do that?
You use the Fade In and Out settings on the audio tracks. You can cut the audio into different parts and then lower the volume so you can hear the audio from the video. Hope this helps. :)
