Now note! that it is a dire necessity in the book of ALLAH to see the verses that follow and understand them! because the verse that follows sometimes explains the verse that leads it!

FOR EXAMPLE ALLAH SAYS IN A SINGLE WHOLE & LONE VERSE IN SURAT AL MAUN: {{ So woe unto those performers of Salât (prayers) }} (Al-Ma'un 107:4)

THIS VERSE IS ON ITS OWN !!!! DOES THIS MEAN MUSLIMS SHOULDNT PRAY ???

Does this mean that people who PERFORM PRAYERS WILL GO TO HELLFIRE ???!!!

{{ Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men),

And refuse Al-Mâ'ûn (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). }} (Al-Ma'un 107:6-7)

Thereby we have two verses also in Surat Al Maidah following the verse in question (regarding the upholding of ALLAH's LAWS & LEGISLATION) with lesser ruling upon those who dont uphold it

{{ And We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it shall be for him an expiation. And whosoever does not judge by that which Allâh has revealed, such are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers - of a lesser degree). }}

And whosoever does not judge by that which Allâh has revealed, such are the Zâlimûn

where Zalimun in Arabic means oppressors & transgressors! But oppression and transgression does not remove you from the fold of Islam

Then again in verse 47 ALLAH says :

{{ Let the people of the Injeel (Gospel) judge by what Allâh has revealed therein. And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed (then) such (people) are the Fâsiqûn (the rebellious i.e. disobedient (of a lesser degree) to Allâh. }} (Al-Ma'idah 5:47)

And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed (then) such (people) are the Fâsiqûn (the rebellious i.e. disobedient (of a lesser degree) to Allâh.

may ALLAH guide the rulers of the Muslimeen to be righteous & upright and to apply the SHAREEA OF ALLAH AS IT SHOULD BE APPLIED & may ALLAH give them the righteous people around them

and he reported by Ibnu Abbas(RA) that he said when the khawarij used this same verse to make takfeer of the Best of this Ummah the Sahaab(RA):

(( It is not the kufr that you go to... rather it is a kufr lesser than a kufr ))
