his voice although still great has gotten rough over all these years. /watch?v=ztTa7KCRi8M&feature=related after watching that, you can see how much softer his voice used to be
Saw Marshall on the FIRST tour with Chris Donato on bass & Marshall's brother Robert on drums. It was at the original 9:30 Club in DC in 1981. Lot's of great shows with Marshall & Tommy Keene Band in the 80s in DC. I miss that.
Like Buddy would have staged something like that!! Dont you think you have took him too far??? Remember the Buddy or 56' and stop trying to be the Buddy of 2008......
Oh shut up! Good music is good music, and Holly of all people would recognize that. It's not like Holly never covered a song, or played a concert, for Christ's sake!
@TheToadieness He played Buddy in the movie La Bamba... Because he is sooo good at doing Buddy! He is now in his 50's so of course he is a little rough now.
For fans of Marshall Cranshaw His new album Jaggedand will be released on June 2, 2009. Go to the 429records website for more info and to hear tracks.
This is nothing close to the original, total crap, anyone could do this, wannabeeee

This song was on the B side of the La Bamba movie cassette tape. I completely wore this tape out back in 1987!! LOL

@LittleDragon2000 I agree. I wish he would have played Buddy in "The Buddy Holly Story"
he would have done a better job than Gary Busey did.

Crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
I just can't seem to get you off my mind
Crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
You're the one I love, I think about you all the time
Crying, do do do do, tear keep a falling all night long
Waiting, do do do do, it seems so useless I know it's wrong
Keep a crying, waiting, hoping you'll come back
Maybe someday soon it'll change and you'll be mine
Crying, do do do do, tears keep a falling all night long

DAP and Rock-n-Roll an unbeatable combination like Peanut butter and boat manufacturing. When I think of rock I think DAP!
