Hi, I just stumbled across your videos, and they are great. You have a good on-screen presence and present your topics with skill.
Back in the day I was into film SLRs, but when digital cameras came out I got into Canon Elphs and for years never went anywhere without one in my pocket - then only cell phone cameras. Now I have finally come full circle back to a SLR camera (Nikon d5100, 18-200mm, 50mm prime). Fun!
Thanks for making the time to help others! Curt in Portland Oregon.
Is there an easier way to memorize the f stops? I mean I get confused when you say smaller aperture/wider aperture/bigger aperture are you referring to a smaller/bigger opening or f#? This is what confuses people.
@dipmvideos Ha I doubt that, at least not in what I've worked with...&& i make short films, and am planning to take the cinematography course in college, but Id like to have a very good camera. Well Im not an expert on cameras at all, but I'd like one that has the quality like this video does.
@Renefilms93 hmm.. what camera didn't do what you wanted it to? the 60d, 7d and t3i pretty much have the same quality video, you'd have to get the 5d II to see an improvement, in terms of video features, i think the 60d is the best value at this point. the t3i isn't a slouch though.
@dipmvideos ha well to be honest, i havent had much experience with really good cameras, but theyve mostly been those under 300....Yeah i guess so, but I also have a range in price, so im trying not to buy the most expensive, if i could i would, but yeah, I mean I could probably make the range for one of them, but that would it, so I dont want to spend so much money on something I didnt want? you know.

i wanna buy a DSLR my first. Which one should i go for; D3100 or D5100; should I take the standard 18-55mm lens which comes along with it or buy some other lens; I wanna shoot outdoors, landscape as i am an outdoor person as well as potraits with background blurred out. I also want a gud video recording
Plsssssssssssssss!!!!! I need your advice. shud I go for a canon T2i, sony slt A55, a Nikkon or any othe dslr in th same price range for both photos and good short movie clips.
(I am new to dslr and want sumthing i could use till intermediate/advance stage)
