I'm friends with the Charity, the girl he was dating at the time of the murder. She went to prison for 10 years for accessory to murder. She's changed though, she's a really nice person. She has a husband and 2 children now.

Doubt he got married. No conjugale visits allowed at the West Unit. You can have visits at a picnic table, but nothing more.

@SiressSanguinarian Sorry for the very late reply. They censor mail for explicit pictures, drugs, pornography things like that. Ususally, unless you are a gang member, they don't read it. He isn't bisexual now, or will be again. Platonic relationships aside. There are no conjugal visits at the West unit of FSP!

@Angel4jo1 Well, I would, especially since he treats us with a hell of a lot more respect and love than we get from others. He writes to us and shares his art and philosophy, which most people would never share, so he makes a great friend. Besides, there are thousands if not more people in prison, so why does it make any difference? It's like telling their families that they're bad people for wanting to keep in touch.

@Sylvania49 If your friend did something for you that shows how much he or she cares for you, then your brother or sister rats both of you out to the police, who would you like more? Heather was not 100% innocent, yet she did not have to go to prison, and now she betrayed him and he doesn't hold that grudge against her. So I would forgive any fault he has. He may have been a little messed up as a kid, but he is a good man now.

That said, I am fans of neither Manson nor Bundy, though Manson is in prison for something he did not do. He had no involvement in the Tate/LaBianca slayings.
@mizzdixie Manson was involved so far as restraining a few victims with rope before the girls arrived, so really he's only guilty of breaking in and entering and taking hostages. His hands are pretty much clean of blood, otherwise. And like in this case, the leaders are misidentified and guilt is placed heavily on the innocent as opposed to the guilty.
I'm ashamed that people still hate this man. Yes, he did some devastating things, but that was '96 people. He wasn't even legal when it happenned. I know it's hard to think of, but he does regret the slayings. If you were to ask him personally, he'd still say so. @sgath92 That was the whole point of my comments. If people are going to treat him like that, then they need to treat everyone else the same, and they just aren't. His mentality shouldn't be a factor in how much bad attention he's been getting. That's one of the main reasons I tend to get deffensive about him.
