superman is not solely dependant on the sun. The sun triggers superman's body to metabolize another energy source that is far higher than the suns. It's called zero point energy. But that's not the official DC explanation but it's the only explanation in sci-fi that even explains how superman could have the energy to do the stuff that he does. Alien, god, alien. DC is more towned down and realistic? they have superman moving planetS physically outta orbit, how the hell is that realistic!?, they have batman "mastering" 100+ martial arts styles, how is that realistic!? it takes almost a lifetime to "master" 3 or 4 martial arts at best, nevermind 100 and then some. i could go on about how "realistic" DC heroes are. i blame the writers personally. goku might could do that...i know frieza did something similar as early in dbz as that was.

just a couple weeks ago, on Young Justice(animation), Kid Flash went up against Black Canary, despite KF known for having superior speed, She was still able to take him down with a couple moves...in a couple of seconds, then she took down Superboy just as easy...despite not having superman level abilities, neither did she use her own super abilities...again, battle outcome is not determined by how physically faster or stronger you are then your foe...it helps but thats it...

The voice acting is great, and everything is technically alright, but it seems like they could have done so much more with the lighting, animation and scene work. I feel like this wasn't even as well directed as JLU.
@superdisconinja they took out the best part,when he meets the three other supermen to fight chronovore! also they say that future superman is of 84th century and he really is of 854th century. This movie is a fail it was ok but cmon they took out zibarro scene, it should of been like 2 hours long. All star superman movie really failed in showing what the comic book was like, failll.
@Feder147 As we speak, i'm watching one of the special features on the special edition blu ray. I thought it was a great movie. i am disappointed they took out most of issue 6 and 10, but between the very funny samson and atlas scenes and the redone ending, which even grant morrison himself says he was better than the comics and was something he wish he thought of, i would say it's definitely not a "faillll"
