... If you can love your brother, Brother can love another, whenever we the people understand one another we the people can love each other ... Mercy, Amen to that!
OMG I finally found this !!!! YES.. Classic .We loved this in neighborhood I grew up in. I can still picture everyone dancing to this..some have past on ..I have these classic songs to remember them by.
I used the lyrics to this song to bring together a workshop comprised of different cultures. The youngnz got off on it! Really brought the workshop together.
Unfortunately I misplaced the lyrics. Would appreciate it if anyone could help me out in that dept.
This song came out about 1970 when the 5 leading band in DC was Chuck Soul Searchers, BlackHeat, Young Senators, Might Korvettes, and Scacy and the Sound Service.
when this song came out The Crips were strong and holding it down in the hood in South L.A. the early 70's. Black pride was strong back then. But the Crips too it to another stage and then went thing started to look pretty fuck up for there.
My uncle was in the SS at this time..he is Ashley of "Ashleys Roachclip" my other uncle was in South Shore Commission that did "Free Man" both bangers of that time!!!

i wonder , if funk musicians were allowedto turn up their guitars, or if white people told them they couldnt play rock so they had to turn down their guitars, cause i know white people are retarded like that
just a thought eh, i notice alot of funk records have some serious guitar solos lol, just the other day i was watching ernie isley on youtube, drop a nasty solo, but his amp was sabatoged lol
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You damoolah for sharing this! Greatly appreciated! Thanks for sharing....
damoolah, do you have that cut "1993" by them? I think it's on the same album but not sure. Would love to hear it, again, especially because of the lyrics, being that it's 2008, almost 2009, now.
