I think what happened to your faulty light speed dash is b/c while you were dashing either knuckles or tails jumped ahead of you and collected the remaining rings needed to finish the dash, judging by their position of the three of them falling, and them trying to "jump back into formation". I could be wrong though :P

If you beat the game while having all emblems collected, the end screen will tell you to try obtaining all 'A's. Maybe you should give it another shot.

Yep. What happened was for some reason, I did the light dash and at the last ring, Sonic's position tilted.

Pushing forward diagonally doesn't get you anywhere, and this is a glitch that happened in SA2 as well (Final Rush is a good example).

Oh right. I'm not doing a time attack here, but I'm going moderately fast. I still got a lot of stages to cover so I've getting back into the groove now.

Oh, and sorry for the grammatical error- I meant the *didn't* work out so well. My speedrun of this stage was around 6 or 7 minutes. I quit doing speedruns on it for a while when I lost my last life in rail canyon- but don't get me wrong-I COMPLETED the whole thing twice.

It is taking me a whole lot of time to gat all A's to get super hard mode. I'm almost done with team sonic, but i have dark, chaotix, and rose to go.

I'd say Chaotix are the hardest to "A". Their selective "missions" sometimes make it tough to score enough points.

Also when you have to collect all the hermit crabs, or all the chips, you can literally be driven mad looking for the last one.

Sometimes Team Dark can be the hardest for me. Their increase in surprises not found in other teams can get annoying. And it takes a faster time and more rings to get an A rank.

If I recall correctly, I've never gotten an E-rank for Chaotix but their stages can be frustrating.

As for getting all A's. That's going to be an eternity for me. But I got an A rank for Metal Madness/Overlord, which is the hardest sequence in the game.

Numerous times has this been asked. Really, seeing how this game is rated "E" I really don't think Sonic Team intended for Knuckles to say "Shit"- that's stupid.

It's a grunt in the form of "Shiya!" or something to that effect.
