To open your crafting you have to make a crafting box or workbench which you need to make by putting four wooden planks in all the boxes at the top of your inventory. You get/craft wooden planks by going up to a tree and left clicking to collect a part of the tree trunk. Then press whatever key to get to your inventory and place one piece of the tree trunk you collected in the two by two box at the top of your inventory and voila you have 4 wooden planks which you can use to build your house. @mrjadmoussa press E for the characters crafting tab you can craft a crating table with the character crafting tab and then set the table down with right mouse the right mouse to open the crafting bench once it's on the ground you can only craft a pick on the crafting bench

Woow.. I just don't get it! Why the hell would anybody make an eight minutes long video about how to craft a stick, workbench or a pickaxe, when there's two options, which is way easier.

Option 1. Go read Minecraft Wiki (The documentation)

Option 2. Make it shorter! I could explain how to gather wood, craft them and explain every single detail in less than two minutes.

@DryBones747 you mean torches , get some coal (its a stone with black dots BUT MAKE SURE YOU BRAKE IT WITH A PICKAXE) then make some sticks (go to incentory and make some woodem planks and put two wooden planks they in a stick formation) then go to the inventory put one stick bellow and a coal above and youl get 4 torches

@SuperSmashShaman Kind of. If you go to the website and click on the "classic" multiplayer/singleplayer then you can play free. Its an older version and you can't save and you don't get the crafting/tools but you DO get unlimited of each block. Basically its a trial version but thats free.
