In my opinion it's still the unbeated champion of muscle car racing. New Driver games have this weird physics the implemented. It feels unnatural and artificial. Here though, if the car hopped over the bridge, it fell down like a goddamn stone.. that's what's so natural about it. I wish new games had this physics and they just made it more uncontrollable, you know,almost like real life. That'd be a goddamn driver alright.

Firstly, Graphics are a textural and model based thing. So you cannot put out a benchmark for that because it's player made. The physics in Second Life are dynamic due to scripting. So. Go buy better things.

@NinjaShadow8 Because the physics were improved. It's not necessarily the graphics that were bad, just the textures and the FOV (field of view) were really downgraded so the system could keep up with the improved physics. I believe the models were more detailed as well. Not to mention ALL of the cars were detailed because they were all cars you could drive. (Not for sure if this is the real reason why but it is the most logical)

I used to play this all the time back in the day, LOVED IT... I recently downloaded it and played it using epsxe, I realized there was some noticeable slow down and frame rate issues.... From what I've read on the net, sites like IGN, the fps was fucked even when played on psx console ...But I never noticed it much back in the day, but now its kind of unplayable compared to driver 1 :(...idk I think Im going to buy a physical copy of the game and see if the fps is as bad
