@Strogenforcer How would a D11R help in this situation? I'm my 10 years of photographing demolition I have NEVER seen a bulldozer assist any crew for any company when it comes to wrecking a steel structure....
When they demolished the tank very similar to this one in my neighborhood, thye "caved in" the tank using bulldozers and then picked it apart using shears.
yeah those labounty shears are bad ass. im a welder and my company sent me to labountys corporate headquarters in minnesotta for a week for specialized training on how to maintain them. those things can tear some shit up. lol
HAHA hope this comment works. testa got some really big machines, i run a kamatsu 200 with a labounty shear, the thing is amazing. i work for amix in canada. nice video. i got to get me some footage of me in the 200
Unbelievable! It's amazing to watch big beast ripping and pulling huge sheets of metal! I like when the operator fold a huge piece precisely and put away. Great job Stephen!
Fantastic video, Steve! Looks like a modern day dinosaur ripping into that tank! The guy in the red jacket really knows his stuff - you can tell the way he waves his arms around! LOL!!!
Thanks for the compliment. Like any great director the waving of the arms is important to keep the orchestra in synch. How do you think this tank came down so fast?
I think I should do a comparison video or maybe get the 1250 operator's parents to furnish me with a Super8 film of him opening Christmas presents 25 years ago and see if we see a similarity here!!!
easy work, man

a shear could do it all, don't need a dozer when a shear is capable of getting an I-beam and pushing/scraping the metal like a dozer.
