When I got this figure, I got him because the muted color scheme and the red eyes made me think of him as movie Nemesis Prime. Then, I realized why Optimus was this color. Let me just say you'd be pretty damn charred if you flew through the atmosphere and then impacted on the planet. Still, he looks like a dark, mutated Optimus, so I think of him as Movie Nemesis.
We want realistic, realistic, what would alien robots really look like. These are the reasons for these really bad choices made by Bay. So theyn that have them transform into asteroid thingies with windows. This movie pains me.
fuck u, stop living in the past. and incase u dont know, the robots wernt supposed to look like that on cybertron, thats just their vehicle mode for when they're flying through space

I think optimus is the better of the two protoforms, although starscream has a cool looking torso...
