@Pitschinski I use a Scully 280-2 channel 1/4 inch mastering deck. It still needs some work but for the most part it works pretty well. Just keep in mind the maintenance these machines require, but I think they are worth it for the character they impart to any recording. I like it alot more than making beats on a laptop thats for sure.

@MarcS4R thats been the one thing ive been hesitant to get to fixing. ive heard alot of horror stories about EL lights jacking up pixels on the screen or screens completely dying. Definitely gotta be careful with that part.
@ElasticMinds Nah man it's really easy to do and you don't need to take the screen apart so no chance of messing up.pixels. I've replaced it on my mates MPC

What Type of RTR Recorder do you use?
Would you recommend them or is it very Pita?
And why have you got two of them?
I guess it is a 1/4" Machine?
I got a Tascam 80-8 but thinkin bout gettin a dedicated Stereo Master machine.
