  • Gotta love Rerun R.I.P.

  • JOHN WITHERSPOON WIT A FRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • @liteskinnrokkstar lol wow...

  • I remember this episode as a child and now looking at it again, I just realized that was Johhny Witherspoon doing the introduction at the disco.

  • ReRun ends up getting the spot, instead of the kids. But, ReRun has a change of heart when the show airs and fakes an injury, to let the kids have the spot, instead. Roger, Dwayne, and Dee catch on, when ReRun's allegedly twisted ankle doesn't bother him, as he's cheering along with them, when those kids do a great job.

  • I remember that Gong Show episode, from 2:15 onward. Roger and Dwayne were trying to get a spot for a local singing group, comprised of a bunch of kids from their neighborhood (all brothers and sisters). But, Rerun (unbeknownst to the rest) was planning to book himself on the show. That's why they (see Dwayne's face, for example) were so shocked, when ReRun broke a 45 and had the producers play it, while he auditioned for the show himself.

  • go, rerun, go!..lol..lol..lol..

  • @cornbreadthedog right right, lol.

  • they played that song everytime someone danced on this show.is it get up get down get funky get loose by teddy pendergras?

  • Fred "Rurun" Berry is classic.........He was one the original dancer on soul train..that's how he got the part on What's Happening...RIP

  • R.I.P Rerun

  • Look at that fat shit go.

  • That is John Witherspoon playing the DJ! Check that out.

  • muh'fuckin legend, people.

  • Whats the last song? The first one is Teddy Pendergrass, whats the last song? =)

  • wow, memories. this was way back when tv shows were actually good, funny and required some talent to write and produce.

  • da 80's beat your feet king and queen

  • Those blue Adidas he has on at 2:13 are sick!

  • 日本はファンキーフルーツ!

  • The dancer that won was also the guy that overdosed on pills in the only episode of Good Times where JJ stayed serious.

  • That was rerun's second wife in real life... she was a professional dancer.

  • Yea rerun was the sh@$.... That was his second wife in real life... She was a professional dancer...

  • that's the music from teddy p's get up get down get funky get loose Rerun and his lady friend got down good stuff.

  • I bet watching that would cheer me up no matter how foul of a mood I was in at the time.

  • I agree,Papillonmuscogee. Rerun was the best! And if you have to say anything bad on here, just leave because no one wants to deal with nonsense.

  • Damn!

  • Get it Rerun, he was an amazing dancer :-D

  • He was in Soul Train

  • Light on his feet he was. I miss Fred. That was great.

  • hahahahahaha.

  • HAHA i have a video where i dance sort of like this! Check it! love this guy! =)

  • rerun is my dude

  • ReRun was on point!!! Pop Lockin..back in the day, that's what I'm talkin bout!! Love the music too.

  • @Papillonmuscogee ..hey, check it! rerun was super bad and super getting down at 2:39-2:44!..rest in peace, rerun! peace!

  • my dad used to love to watch this guy dance!!

  • 100% proof that size doesn't matter when it comes to dancing.

  • @sw1zzie ..i love the look on his fellow actors' faces when rerun dances...they look so amazed that a big person can move like that..so clean and so fresh..lol..rest in peace, rerun!

  • @sw1zzie Of course your body type matters. Otherwise we would see more fat guys dance like this. The fact that almost every profesional dancer is fit means nothing to you? But sure, this guy is really awesome for being big.

  • he is flexible. Lou and Arnold couldn't dance like this

  • @sw1zzie ..hey, look at the expression on dwayne's face at 2:30..he looks like he's been busted on csi...lol..lol..lol..

  • @sw1zzie

I can understand what you mean about that. Nell Carter was hugh and she was a great dancer! My she rest in piece along with Fred Berry!

  • @sw1zzie DUDE he is black like the rest of us of course he kan dance better than white people

  • @sw1zzie Well, "Rerun" wasn't OBESE. Overweight, yes, but not really really fat. I think a 300, 400, or 500 lb person woul SEVERELY injur him or herself if motions like this were tried, not to mention, kind of like an "abaya" (aka the black tentlike dress Saudi women wear outside), that much excess weight would tend to "hide" any smooth moves.

  • @actuary33 COLORED PEOPLE!!, DAMM YALL WHITE FOLKS STILL USE THAT TERM, BABY YOUR FOLKS STILL THINK WE PICK COTTON!!

  • That's teddy Pendergrass song, get up, get funky get loose.

  • Really? I'll have to go check that out then.

  • They shoulda put 'im on the stage with Parliament.

  • Come on now, some of yall know good and well yall was at home tryin to learn how to pop-lock back in the day!

  • The bang bang man in the dj booth... Mr. John WItherspon himself!!!

  • If you don't like it, get off your do-nothing ass and do something about it, that's what all you morons claimed to be doing back then, but what'd you do instead? That's right, you morons went to prison for meth and molesting children. If you want to 'deal' with something, be a fucking man about it you eternal pussy. Now go back to fryin' yer squirell Jeb, LOL!

  • @MrSimonGirty. You should've just changed the channel if you didnt like it....btw, now that your 'illusions' have disappeared, what good did you gain?

  • I think he fucked himself up at 2:27 !!!

  • I never said it was a style tho... And how do you figure its a commercialized term? I would say the commercialization is people identifying poppers as bboys or those type of generalizations.. poplocking is more of an oldschool term used by the community I would say, and even some dancers.... My point is, if you say poplock people will do all styles that fall under popping... u cant expect everyone to be up to date on terminology..

  • what do you mean? If you ask people to pop lock they will most likely do waves and robotic movements, some locking moves, and maybe some hitting.. all styles that fall under the more technical term popping... lets say for instance if you had asked michael jackson to do a "back slide" but he only knew it as a moonwalk... would that make him any less good at it? It doesnt matter what you call it, its how you do it...

  • hot soul

  • G Shit

  • I never get tired of this

  • Woooo Portia!

  • Classic!

  • I'mma let you finish, but Rerun had the greatest dance video of ALL TIME!

  • this man deserves an award he should be named when were speaking of the greats like mike usher chris brown james brown an those

  • fred berry rocked... so much charisma, happy, and a great dancer to boot! we miss you fred!

  • timeless classic, as big as he is its incredible that he can move like that, its sad that he lost his life so early.

    gamgan1

  • Fred wasnt no joke!!! he did his thing before breakdancing even came out!!!

  • Rerun could move, I used to love watching What's Happening!

It's amazing how Rerun could jump in the air with agility.
