thanks for bringing back this good memory with this song, i think i was in 6th grade and i was going with a neighbor girl and we actually danced slow danced to this song,,, thanks for posting this song,,
@alan1963 On the To You With Love, Donny album it was called "Do You Want Me", but later after they wrote another song called "Do You Want Me", this song started being listed as "We Can Make It Together".
I own this album and after finding this on here I'm just inheaven. I saw Donny in Lancaster and he still is the best and the women were still screaming his name. My very first concert for my 16th birthday was the Osmonds in Valley Forge and it was something that I have never forgotten and I still love them and I still have their concert book to this day, over 30 years later.
this is the first time I'm hearing this song, and I'm loving it! I'm 17 but I don't care for the so-called music that they make these days...give me Donny any day! my mum says I'm born in the wrong era haha
one of my faves! cant really say it takes me back to those days, cause im only 12! but i love all the "back in the day" music. if only music and singers were like this these days
@whiplash567 I agree with you about "back in the day" Not only could people sing but Donny and his brothers played all their insturments. I sometimes wonder if these new "stars" can even READ music! I was around 12 when this LP came out too. We had the Carpenters, Manilow ,Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Tony Orlando and Dawn, Gladys Knight and The Pips and on & on.
I don't like being "old now" but I'm glad I was a teenager when I was!
Heh. I can see Donny sitting on the piano in those star-spangled bell bottoms wearing a brown Donny cap in a white shirt.
The back cover is that shot of Donny from a distance in a huge barn playing on a black piano. All from memory. Haven't seen the album in years but I played this all the time, that and "A Time For Us."
Hi, me neither, I do not know this song, I do now, that is, I'm listening to it. Theres a smart person on here, it is, "Zellyscool", There's much music to hear, and some it is not today. Thanks.
I just got a record player and I have been playing this song for about 3 days now its an awesome song and I just love it so much. I'm only 17 and I just love Donny and all the other artists from over the years. Today the artists now don't make good music like they use too.
I should have moved to utah and snagged Donny..I would have given Debbie a run for her money......:)

Every Donny Osmond song and every Partridge Family song takes me to my highschool days just hanging out in the art room man if only I could go back

Donny has a special voice, which has only got better over the years.
I can still remember, as a kid, Donny and his brothers on my wall (Took up half of it) !
For someone at such a young age, he was very mature, and took his music very seriously, as he still does.
For him to be around for so many years, he must be doing something right.
Donny, keep a song in your heart.
Thank you for making us SMILE for all of these years!

True! What is it about Donny's voice that keeps us hypnotized and always begging for more? Not that I mind!
luvrof70s 3 years ago
I really DONT know! I like to say - Merrills voice would "send me" Donnys voice "caught me". Donnys voice just makes me go weak........ xxx
