this video is soo much helpfull. I have been playing for 2 years now. I have improved a lot last with many shot but my foot work was horrible. thats why my defence was bad. This video of footwork training will help me bringing my game to next level.
I dont mean any offend , but I saw your knee cap going over your toe , and I think is kind of dangerous... And you can try adding more details to your footwork.
its better to go right left right and before someone says something about me not knowing what im talking about i do as i have many years o experience winning many tournaments and play for my county and my coach is the welsh national coach with over 50 years of experience and is well known and respected by all the other coaches in the country
Bleh, he's using a wilson racquet, can't trust his words now.
JK XD Racquet only help a bit, its all about skill and stamina. very good instructional. Always struggled with with recovering from running up because my opponent drop and make me stumble forward
Nghia, thanks a lot for putting this up. It cleared up a few things for me, a recreational player who wants to improve.
Anyone else who is a coach? Can you please comment on this video? Not meaning to disparage Nghia's efforts, but it will be nice to have confirmation from others who are coaches.

you are lacking one key step that starts all of these movements off and that is the split step

it lacks the overhead footwork to the backhand backcourt

Isn't there a better solution to the backhand backcourt?

keeping right left and right is the proper foot work to move front right.. kids cannot keep long steps to move near the net..
rohanrocks123able 8 months ago
nearly all moves requires ur left leg if ure right handed to move first right?

yes sometimes shuffle off net but not always best. You are walking around the court, there's no push off or good base. Some on points for beginners

you've got your knee in front of your foot when you're lunging..... you're gonna injure your knee pretty badly long term.
Nez0 1 year ago
@Nez0 so at the back of the knee the angle between the thigh and leg should be like 90 or more?
faisalkfpm 8 months ago
@faisalkfpm
Yes, thats right, your front foot should be in front of your knee to reduce the stress on the knees.
