@QuintusSecundus In my opinion it was because Dali and Picasso were among those willing to violate all laws of beauty in exchange for fame by painting the aberrations their "art" represented, at just the time when those who promoted them through the controlled major media, wanted to skew the sensitivities of young malleable minds and deprive them of the experience of real art.
These were absolutely stunning European paintings from the past, right before the coming of Mayer Amschel Rothschild, the father of Modern Zionism which has destroyed the natural beauty and strength of Europe for the past 250 years so as to establish a deceptively degenerating world government under the control of himself, his plutocratic descendants and the “God-chosen” Jewish parasites. After all, Beauty and Truth are not for all men, but for only those who seek them. ☆☆☆☆☆
@tyoungos Thank you for sharing the link to this video with me,tyrungos! I am familiar with some of these works as I appreciate beautiful natural art and realism. This is real art.
@tyoungos Yes it's true.Bouguereau himself thought the same about it and he paid a high price for it,he was abandoned a long time from most art-catalogues,until 1980 or so.It's funny to notice that especially Americans are completely crazy about his art.Is it the nostalgia for Romantic,in the line Pachelbel,Bouguereau,David Hamilton, to name a few?A reaction on America's policy on war all the time? In spite of his popularity,Bouguereau's grave was hard to find at Cimetiere Montparnasse
Impressionism blows. I just can't help but wonder how realistic Renaissance inspired artwork could have manifested itself if it wasn't constrained to Christian themes (assuming a pagan Europe).
Also known as redemption, Einherjar & Lunantishees, not to forget citizens of Ancient Greece and Rome observed the Feast of Vinalia on this day, which honored Bacchus, the God of Wine, also the the ancient New Years Day.

Why did I only hear about artists like Picasso and Dali in the art lessons at school and never about artists like Bouguereau or Anders Zorn?
I'm glad that the Internet exists, or I still wouldn't have seen their art.

Proud to be a European - proud of my ancestor's achievements in the art world.
Beautifully refined master -pieces.
A certain group envies us, and now control the garbage abstract art world to keep our minds from creating REAL art.

One of the ways for people to evolve from Neanderthals to Angels, is to appreciate this type of Art. --- Pure & Naked Truth. Thank you.

Watched all the paintings - beautiful.
Ma e Arte sorpassata!
We can't keep on painting nude women any more - it turns us gay!
We need to paint FEELINGS rather than Figures.
The Artist needs that meta-physical tension that he alone, can be attuned with.
All else is folly!
