  • woof

  • yet Obama has trickle down effect policies now... boy don't we look silly

  • Sorry to embarrass the state of SC, but Sanford isn't any better in his written correspondence. He wrote a column for the State newspaper recently that had the most screwed-up syntax you've ever seen and idioms from outer space. Microsoft Word fixed his misspellings, though.

BTW, Mark Sanford wasn't home schooled. He graduated from a private school... which accounts for his advocacy of school vouchers, but makes me grateful for the public education system!

    BTW, he isn't

  • This is right after one of his "Appalachian Trail hikes" with Maria.

  • Comment removed

  • Yep! ...thus the reason why boring topics such as the 'economic differences between Bush and McCain' aren't quite among his priority thoughts?

    Can't blame him... Lol

Ahhh... anyway, why is Blitzer disrupting his sweet tender daydreamings and bothering him with such uninteresting questions?

-Insane stuff considering Sanford's rank then in GOP- he blatantly didn't give a damn about the republican presidential race. Gosh. Face it: little by little, Gov.'s turning liberal! Gotta love that guy.

  • You can't keep borrowing money like the Messiah is doing, which will be a complete disaster, and you can't just cut taxes with the huge mess we now have, which was started by Bush and perpetuated by the Messiah. You need consider all approached and blend a solution.

Just take a 200 Econ class and you will lear this - basic stuff.

But. why is Sanford even in office. He left his responsibility to get some poon and thinks we care about his apology. He should be removed today.... disgusting and weak

  • Well, you can't get to economic prosperity by cutting taxes either. Whenever you cut taxes, you add to the national deficit which we borrow from the Chinese and Europeans to finance. We then pay something called "interest to the bankers. What we're doing is essentially digging ourselves into a hole.

  • What a typical, uninformed, conservative twit. No wonder they lost and will continue to lose. Probably home skooled.

  • energetic fun smart and loves this video

    lets chat In

  • blankness

    earmarks, big whoopdie doo.

  • slam this tight lil ass =]?

  • Oh, Wolf Bit him Hard, drew Blood, wolf can smell a rat.

  • McCain quits pulls out of the election LMAO suspends all adds and fundraising LMAO quits debate LMAO

  • LOL

  • Way to deflect from the question and avoid the topic at hand.

  • I'm tired of the GOP ideal of privatizing profits while socializing costs. (Read AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) I don't like the bailing out of these poorly run, mismanaged, publicly held, companies who are guilty of corporate avarice and capitalist malfeasance.

It amounts to welfare for the rich.

  • Well fortunately McCain will decrease the price of oil. Once the dollar becomes stronger oil prices will diminish. Once the dollar increases most economic factors will also increase.

  • You do realize that oil is a finite commodity, no?

You are talking about John Mccain, the same guy who said he wished there was "no interest rate" right? The same guy who said the "fundamentals of the economy are strong" this week as AIG collapsed, causing an 85 million dollar expense to the tax payer.

How do you propose that John McCain will lower the price of oil? He has no control over it.

And please don't say "offshore drilling" or "ANWAR" because geologists agree there's not enough.

  • WOW! they asked him for examples on differences in economy and he went to earmarks? wowie! vote republican yeah!

  • McCain = Incompetence.

  • McCain has a brain tumor and the docs at Walter Reed know damn well .. how else could he be mistaken so often for Granpa Simpson ?

Bush, Rove, Hannity and Limbaugh can't wait to get a right wing lunatic like palin in office.

  • skydive95: can you provide a link proving this brain tumor? Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing you. I'd just like to verify the fact. Thanks very much.

  • One heart beat away! Who was born in 1884 and died of a heart attack in 1945 at age 61 ? Who was born in 1911 and died in 1981 of a heart attack when he was 70 years old? John S. McCain

  • Why does McCain want to be president?Who knows? I've read his words in his book [Worth the Fighting For]."I didn't decide to run for president to start a national crusade for any political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of patriotism. In truth I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to become president." -John McCain

  • Why does McCain want to be President? For the GOP, they always do this by committee. The answer: It's his turn.

And yes, that answer is pathetic, but that's what the GOP is offering this time round. A candidate that the GOP finds revulsion to, and went after with vindictiveness in their own party. The poor schmo is gonna be 80 soon, and this is his last shot at a legacy. Screw the country, the GOP doesn't care. It's McCain's turn.

As for Palin. OMG. She's a banana peel away from POTUS.

  • mccain has admitted infact bragged that he voted with bush 90 percent of the time. they r the same.. dont be ignorant and deny it. if u liked what bush then hey vote for mccain. the point is mccain = bush 3rd term

  • McCain is so out of touch with financial reality it's scary. I am far under his definition of making 5 million. His definition of fundamentals of our economy is strong is a joke. Stock market yesterday was the lowest since 911. In the last four years since he sold out to the Bush regime for their support of him in this election, that 90% percentage has gone up to 100% support for Bush. Some Maverick and some hero...

  • Why not address the issues these 2 men are discussing very intelligently and politely with each other, rather than a few seconds where a guy draws a blank?

I'm epileptic, and I have petit mals. Do you know what they are? They are brief times of mind freeze, kindof what it looks like this guy suffered here, then he went right back to his intelligent conversation, making excellent points.

Why not discuss what really matters, than insult a person?

  • "Uh, yea, I mean for instance take, you know ummm, ahhh take for instance the the issue of of ahhhh, of uh (knocks on table) I'm drawing a blank. I hate it when I do that, particularly on TV. Uh, but t-take take for instance, uh McCain is consistent (LOL)..." McCain and Bush are on the same page?

They are but Obama is a nigger Muslim terrorist!!

    LOL fucking nazis!! LOL!

  • Are you from the Bars and Stars flag club? Do you what that is? I hope you are not calling the Senator from Illinois a muslim and Anti-American. The Bush family is well connected to Saudi Arabia, a muslim county. Did you vote for him? Where did most of the terrorist on 9/11 come from?

  • fegufraud: Are you all that's left of the McCain troll machine? A redneck fucking dumbass racist?

Bwah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah

What a worthless pathetic used ass-wipe you are, Bubba.

  • ha ha ha ha ha ha haha hah ahahah

    loser

  • Simple non-manipulated numbers rarely make it to the end user, in this case the voter. The current socio-political environment is one of sensationalism. The average voter has no desire to become self educated. They instead defer to the agenda driven media, (be it left or right) to manipulate their perspectives. It's a sad state of affairs when the voting public won't actively pursue independent source information such as the data presented in Larry Bartel's new book.

  • He puts the "goober" back in gubernatorial.

  • McCain would continue Bush's economic policies that do NOT work. Our economy begins to falter each time a Repubican is President! Herbert Hoover - Great Depression Dwight Eisenhower - 1957 Recession Richard Nixon - 1971 Recession Gerald Ford - stagflation began in 1973 Ronald Reagan - "Black Monday," Oct. 19, 1987 George H. W. Bush - 1991 Recession George W. Bush - largest federal deficit ever! We cannot afford perpetual war. We deserve a change. Vote for Barack Obama.
  • History shows it does not matter who is President ...

as long as Republicans control Congress.

    marginal rates, deregulation, trickle-down, ... have always given us strong economies .. like 2002 - 2007 . . . halted by a democratic Congress.

  • Ha!

Our economy was not strong from 2002 to 2007!

All throughout 2002 we heard Bush make the excuse that we were "recovering from 9/11." His excuse has some merit, but the fact that he made it DISPROVES your assertion that we had a strong economy in 2002.

How about that "jobless recovery" we have "enjoyed" since 2002?

Get your head out of your ass and get your facts straight, luvinways.

  • You do you insist on not letting facts get in the way of your opinions. Grow up

  • man this just go's to show a vote for mccain is a vote for bush I dont know how any one could vote for mccain

  • I live in Williston and I am ashamed that this guy is our governor.

  • McCain would continue Bush's economic policies that do NOT work. Look at our economy now. Our economy sucks! Every time our economy tanks, a Repubican is President! Herbert Hoover - Great Depression Dwight Eisenhower - 1957 Recession Richard Nixon - 1971 Recession Gerald Ford - stagflation in 1973 Ronald Reagan - "Black Monday," Oct. 19, 1987 George H. W. Bush - 1991 Recession George W. Bush - right now! We deserve a change. Vote Barack Obama.
  • You forgot Carter=Democrat 1976-1981

AND you forgot greatest Economies in history:

    Reagan=Republican 1982-1988

    Bush=Republican 2002-2007

  • No, I did not forget Carter.

Presidents do NOT control interest rates or monetary policy. Federal Reserve Chairmen determine those things.

    Who appointed Arthur F. Burns (served from February 1, 1970 -- January 31, 1978)?

    Answer: President Richard Nixon, REPUBLICAN.

FACT: Jimmy Carter was stuck with a Fed Chairman who was appointed by Nixon.

Your assertion that our economy was great in 2002 is laughable. What do you take us for?

  • "I'm drawing a blank"

    Insanely great =)

  • Blitzer owned that guy.

  • "uhh" was all he said...uhh that was a good point!!

  • Bush did not do shit...But start a war...Rep, say that democrats raise taxes. But they dont start 2trillion$ wars.

  • 1. Increase in gasoline prices..triple the price before Bush took over.

    2. Increase in cost of medical care and medicine.

    3. Increase of health insurance.

    4. Increase of food prices.

    5. Increase of education cost.

    6. Increase of all travel costs..specially air cost.

    7. Increase of defense spending in tens of billions of dollars due wars.

    8. Increase of banks fees

  • increase, increase, increase...wow...u forgot to mention all the decrease of jobs, deacrease business, etc!!

  • ah ah im drawing a blank ah what ahum ah ireally don't know im caught off gaurd on this softball question bs bs bsbsbsbsbsbsbsbs forget it usa your fucked your run by huge corporations a private fed reserve and neocons your fucked bailouts for the big guys SO WHAT for everyone else

  • Kofi Annan referring to the pre-emptive Iraq war: "I have indicated it was not in conformity with the U.N. charter. From our point of view, from the charter point of view, it was illegal."

  • Funny video, McCain will continue the same policies as Bush, we already know that, this guy just clarified it for all those republicans who are in denial.

  • FOUR MORE YEARS...FOUR MORE YEARS... FOUR MORE YEARS...

Under McCain America in 2013...US Debt 15 trill plus....US deficit 600 bill plus....4 more years in Iraq....War with Iran...Foreclosures galore...bank failures...bailouts, bailouts, bailouts - of crooks, criminals and conmen...

FOUR MORE YEARS....FOUR MORE YEARS....FOUR MORE YEARS...

  • lol exactly there isnt a difference between McCain and Bush..

if you liked the job Bush did over these last 8 years then sure vote for McCain.. if you didnt then vote for someone else but McCain. Its as simple as that.

  • i think he was thinking of that song from the wizard of oz "if i only had a brain." just as most republicans would sing "if i only had a heart."

  • Well isn't THIS a great open-forum discussion on Mark Sanford... - Pilum Viris

  • Shoutout from Simpsonville, in the great county of Greenville. I'll do my part to help win South Carolina for Obama in November.

  • Sanford fell apart; see the problem with not being honest about your beliefs is that eventually you will be caught out of character. Sanford knows that McCain = Bush, but knows this is politically dangerous, hence he ends up looking insincere. Why doesn't he just proudly say Bush and McCain are both neoconservatives and he is proud of it!! Because the NeoCons are going down!

  • i love the way he dances around the question talking about earmarks...rp spelt i tout well in his book

  • Sanford had his talking points ready, but what he wasn't ready for was specifics on how McCain is different than Bush on issues. He was drawing a blank because on issues John McCain is NOT different. That's why when Wolf kept pressing him to answer the question, he kept avoiding it.

  • Republicans occasionally lose the ability to mask their contempt for the average American, especially when it comes to money. They've got theirs, they don't care whether or not you ever get yours.

It shows amazing lack of judgment on McCain's part to even be associated with the calamitous redneck Phil Gramm. This guy has screwed up every single endeavour he has ever waded into. This is the type loser McCain courts.

Republicans are Pathetic in their stupidity and disdain of intellect.

  • Wow, that Obama ad sucked. McSame? The only redeeming factor is watching Sandord stumble about live on air.

  • Wow this is shameful.

  • Bush mccainomics just doesn't work for regular folks. and yeah. pretty boy sanford isn't very bright. shameful. i mean, he is a pretty boy.

  • John McBush there is no difference.

  • Repubes revel in their stupidity. Going on a Nationally televised new program, fully knowing that he'd be asked about his proclamations and he's LOST. Wandering around in that little Republican PeaBrain and can't come up with anything.

    PATHETIC

  • So, basically no difference. Thanks Sanford.

  • Seriously, no wonder republicans could not stand Bill Clinton. He could THINK and ARTICULATE and govern wisely. Now I get it.

    Obama/Hagel '08

  • Clinton was no better than Bush...He had absolutely no respect for individual rights or states rights...He pardoned drug dealers and was way too lax with the Chinese dictatorship in Bejing(some say for campaign cash)...Obama and McCain are no choice and no change...Only Bob Barr has taken on the dullards in both of the major parties...

  • What wretched, terrible, incoherent and evasive replies to pretty straightforward questions.

  • I can answer the question... NO DIFFERENCE!

  • What's the difference between them two? Answer... Blank response...lol.

    McCain = Third term Bush

    Don't vote for McBush !!!!

  • Wow. Tell us more about this "satire ARTICLE," you magnificent genius!

  • loewer YEAH BUSH CARES, just like when he sent TROOPS to die for corporate buddies. 911 HAPPENED ON Bush's watch in fact BUSH gave the Taliban 43 mil 4 months b4 the attacks. He couldn't even save his own after Katrina hit, it took FIVE days while people suffered and DIED. U are simple a brainwashed toad & are told what to think from Fox News. The FACTS don't match ur propaganda. High gas prices, a terrible economy the world hates us. Yeah Bush is a great guy, he's a criminal & a FRAUD!

  • Sanford has basically been a pretty good limited government guy,but he makes a fool of himself trying to defend McINSANE...he should endorse Bob Barr....

  • its better to say "i don't know" than to let your clueless rambling prove the point for you.

the real answer is...he is right...there aren't too many differences.

  • lol.. the funny thing is that Ron Paul would PWN all economic issues hands down.

  • THIS WAS JUST....PATHETIC!

  • Obama could not make an ad this effective.

  • The Double-talk Express...Full speed ahead!

  • He reminds me of last year's Junior Miss contestant from South Carolina -- the one who said high school students needed more maps to find places like Iraq and who strangely kept ending each one of her dumb comments with "such as."

Sanford is about as smart as a bag of used cat litter. Only in a state such as -- such as -- such as -- South Carolina -- and maybe Mississippi, such as -- could someone of his demonstrably low caliber ever get elected to anything other than Dead Possum Patrol.

  • yeah, george bush

  • Redcorncob, you need to get your facts straight before you post. The contestant was from Miss USA, not Junior Miss, and saying that all Southerners are stupid is equivalent to saying all members of a particular race are stupid - it's simply asinine. Next time, get your pathetic liberal head out of hugging your tree and get your facts right.

  • If I were you, I wouldn't brag too much about knowing the difference between these goofy pageants.

It might reveal the small dark, stinky place where your head currently resides.

And by the way, you Southerners only discovered toilet paper a few years ago, but paper won't get your head out.

  • Well you're not me, thank God. If you were, you would be incredibly more intelligent and charming. And my head is respectfully on the top of my body, where it should be, but you liberals wouldn't know how to tell the difference. And I am quite certain that I am ever so more refined than you could ever hope to be. Have a lovely day, and God bless America.

  • Go buy a pair of tweezers and get that head out before you suffocate. But show us how "incredibly more intelligent you are" by washing them first.

  • And wash that rear end too, while you're at it.

  • You are just pathetic. End point, get your facts straight before posting. Now I have better things to do than argue with you all day. I'm going to actually do something worthwhile with my night, I can only hope you will do the same.

  • Well, just be sure and wash that rear end.

That would be about the most worthwhile thing you could do tonight. But don't do it Southern-style with a wet dead possum. And use some real soap and water.

  • You are really pathetic. At least I'm not a Damn Yankee with no manners or propriety. Good night.

  • No, you're Madame Cornpone with a rear end that obviously needs a good scrubbin.'

  • You're just a grumpy old man who has nothing else better to do with your life but fantasize about my rearend. Now, kindly get your head out of the gutter or I will report you for sexual harassment.

  • You said:

"Now I have better things to do than argue with you all day. I'm going to actually do something worthwhile with my night . . . "

    Liar.

Why are you Possum Humpers such liars?

Go report yourself to the Possum Harrassment Patrol.

  • Go screw yourself, it's all you can get. : )

  • Here's that "charm," "incredible intelligence" and refinement you bragged about, shining through.

  • Oh, get over yourself already. You're just angry because I called you out on your false information. Seriously, act your age, not your IQ.

  • Yeah, I'm angry because I can't tell one lame teenage beauty pageant from another.

    Just furious.

And that IQ jab might have been clever if you'd thought it up, but it became simpletonese after about the first million times it was used.

  • Never said I was original. You're the one who can't get your facts straight. Have a lovely evening in your tree.

  • Have a nice night in that outhouse.

  • Why isn't Wolf calling him out on the fact that he did not answer the question? The media has become absolute shills.

  • thats what happens when they dont spin it...

  • Hahaha.... McBush.

    I'm ashamed of my state's governor. :(

  • Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen you've just entered the Twilight Zone.

  • All they know how to do is dodge and attack. Pathetic.

  • Ron Paul know's about the economy. McCain & Obama will trust the same people that created this mess to fix it. I don't see any change.

  • watch how he never, NEVER answers the question! What a joke.

    MCSAME!

  • Whoa, this poor guy is so damned stupid and unprepared you know right away he's a Republican. It's the Repube mantra to yap these talking points of which they have absolutely no grasp, just like their electorate.

All Republicans are cretins with a false agenda and without the sense to even put up a good front in trying to defend it. Typical Bush type incompetence.

  • haha "earmarks", "pork belly spending", etc... this are generic terms. i love how they dont give any substance to their claims

  • "I' am drawing a blank."

Yep, there is no difference whatsoever.

  • agreed, he is a moron

  • OMG!OMG!OMG! THIS IS TOO FUNNY!!!!

    OBAMA 08!

We need someone who can think for a change

  • is this an SNL sketch....

  • 0:44 - 1:03 = SO AWKWARD...

not even good at BSing anymore.

he goes from saying NAFTA separates McSAME & Bush, to later saying that unites them.

    this puppet is pathetic.

  • Free trade is creating jobs? Does this idiot think he's fooling anyone?

  • it is creating jobs. it's creating jobs in third world countries that once belonged to americans

  • Why isn't Blitzer really calling this guy out!? The Main stream media is soooo fuckinnnng weak! Why can't we spend a week replaying this guys comments over and over all over the place instead of Jesse Jackson?

  • i love this..i can watch it all day..not!

  • The problem is George Bush has been a perfect Republican.

They can't get by when they have to be honest about what their policies are.

  • l hope he becomes the VP, another senior moment

  • this guy didnt even know what he was talking about..

just accept it.. McCain is the same as Bush.

if you like that then by all means vote for him

  • His state treasurer (ravenel) was giullianis campaign finance secretary & was busted for trafficking cocaine. It's ALL corrupt. Even wolf blitzer is a member of the cfr is really screwing the American citizen dead in his or her ass by being a lying S.O.B for the rothschild/rockefeller inbred cocksuckers that plan to depopulate 3 quarters of the earths inhabitants. They are all criminals of the worldwide communist gangster earphone computer radio controlled frankenstein cia conspiracy slavery....

  • If Obama loses this race, that tells me something is wrong with the American people... Mc Cain is surrounded by morons who apparently don't do their homework.

  • either something is wrong with the people, or the GOP investment in buying the entire mainstream media has paid off nicely.

Mccain has supported bush 95% of the time and 100% of the time this year.

  • I just don't understand how they can believe this stuff that they are trying to sell to the people.

  • you mean you didn't know when bush was reelected after it was general knowledge that iraq didn't have wmd and the bush administration lied to go to war?

  • No I knew that Bush and his crew were lying from the beginning... see only 11% of African Americans voted for the idiot! I was not apart of that 11%.

  • Just another Republican moron.

There's no end to the supply...

  • Wow it is rare for the bullshit to just unravel on air like that. And yet still people believe it all!

  • That was a disaster.

  • wow!

  • oh, man...with friends like this...

  • lol. of course he drew a blank. There isn't any difference.

  • This guy Sanford would be like the fries in a McBush value meal.

  • That was like a Blitzerkrieg met by the French Army, i.e, a total surrender.

  • Nah more like a New Orleans levee against katrina.

  • Gov Sanford done shat himself in this interview. Jesus, I could have done a better job defending mclame. At the very least he should have merely spun the question and given a speech unrelated to the question. That is THE key political tactic when asked a question that is too tough or too dangerous to answer.

  • man this guy is a jackass- very suitable for a mccain adviser

  • Wolf Blitzer: occasionally awesome.

  • aww lol!

  • This is hilarious. he has no clue what he is talking about.

  • It would be absolutely great if McCain picked this moron for VP. He was probably being considered but has now been kicked to the curb after this pathetic attempt at an interview.

  • On every issue McSame as Bush baby

    OBAMA 08

  • The Bush/McCain Challenge - with Wolf Blitzer? lol

  • LMAO. This should be Obama's new campaign commercial.

  • McSame - lol.
