I was six when the games came out in 1996, And I got hooked and the games as well as the show.I was going through my stuff rencently as I was moving out of my parents house, And I found my original pokemon blue cartridge I bought when I was 7, I can't even remember how many times I've played that game, I stopped buying the games in 2003. And I haven't bought a pokemon game since, Mainly because the newer games don't look as fun as the originals from 1996-2002. Should I buy one of the newer ones?

@NYlatinothug Most of the big movies and cartoons even from 50's are available in HD, those successful movies can also be available in very high resolution circa 2500x2000 then they just crop it and shrink it to the size they want to.

You can even get Charlie Chaplins movie from 1921 in 720p :) It's not a big deal, it was originally in much higher resolution probably.

It had so much potential, I mean, the first episodes were fine, but I think that making the pkmn league a tournament instead of making him fight the E4 and having him lose, was not that good, it should have enden with Ash battling Gary, and winning, and afterwards, the Johto sereis could've used another character (like Gold) and having him fight Ash in the end or something.
