Alot of people, however you have to relise that times have changed and so do other things. Yes the voice actors may not be up to quality as the old cast, but at a time, the old cast was espically considered bad anyway. Some people only relise they had a good thing when they lose it :/

There's plenty... Phantasy Star, Shining Force, Panzer Dragoon, Virtual Fighter, Streets of Rage, and Shinobi for starters. Then there's all the arcade classics like Outrun, Crazy Taxi, Daytona, Sega Rally...

Yeah, it might be a little obscure to your average casual gamer nowadays, but rest assured Sega fully earned their reputation as one of the all time greats in videogame history. I guess... you had to be there to appreciate it.

But even now, Sega is still making good games.

Exactly- the Sega Master system actually had better grahics than the NES. Sega released the Genesis earlier than Nintendo released Super Nintendo.Super NES had better graphics but the Genesis won the 16 bit fight because they had better 3rd party support. EA Sports series started on the Genesis.Then Sony blew them both out the water. The NES, Atari, Turbo Grafx,Sega,Commodore,etc were alll fun systems-couldn't rely just on graphics back then.

GENESIS, SEGA CD, 32 X, SATURN, AND DREAMCAST, Sega did contributed to gaming especially with its innovative games , but you have to give Nintendo props for bringing back the gaming industry back from the dead after the crash of 83' Without Nintendo bringing the market back to life the gaming industry simply wouldn't be the multi billion industry that it is now.

AVGN just nitpicks the games to death. He is an Angry Nerd, so all of the humor comes from him picking the flaws out of games. True, most people misunderstand the point of the videos, and believe every thing he says, but that isn't the point. The comedic effect is from all the gratuitous nitpicking of details that in the end, dont even matter. James may think the game is decent, but the character of the nerd doesn't, thats why it's funny.

@Gamepopper101 He did say at the end that it had potential, and while it had some great games, it wasn't enough to justify a high price tag and people had to dig through all the FMV games. As with many of Sega's other flops they were simply too far ahead.

Must say Sonic CD would be worth the price for the Mega Drive, Mega CD and game alone, it's one of the few games that make me think "AWESOME" while playing and it's 17 years old!

@JoJoRockets52 Adventures of Batman and Robin isn't bad, it's an improvement on Batman Returns and I enjoyed it. Keio Flying Squadron is a fun and simple shooter. Say what you want, at least Sega tried and held onto the system for over three years, unlike the real throw away which was the 32X, which only lasted eleven months. The Sega CD is still the best way to play Snatcher, it has the best 2D Sonic title, it was where the Lunar franchise grew and honestly, the cheesy FMV titles were a laugh.

SEGA crashed becuase SEGA of Japan just couldn't wait til' Genesis was dead everywhere and in anger of having to discontinue Genesis,America purposely didn't advertise Saturn very well.Had the 2 just stopped arguing and actually compromised they'd still live.You can tell by ad differences.
