  • Comment removed

  • :D :D All this sparked by a visit to the shop :)

  • Crazy huh.

  • my god, those hi-vis vests,

they must be like a rule by metro or something !

do you think the people that aren't wearing them are actually impostors? its like instead of an id badge, they have an id high-vis vest?

actually why don't bus drivers wear badges?

    damn metro tas.

  • the can pull rings are great, I feed my dog and I can't stand our three-man tin opener. it is useless. anyway, just putting that out there. Have a gr8 day and thanks 4 the vid.

  • yeah, they do seem easier.

  • Sweet.

  • Super entertaining as usual.

    Hahahaha.

    Knitting.. Hahahahaha.

  • Really glad you liked it! ^^

  • never gonna wear your blue undies again... haha

  • try jumping in the bus's way

  • Wow i feel so stupid, i seen now that youre from Aussie XD

Ahh, i hang out too much with ozzy people,

cant tell the difference anymore >_>

  • haha, it's cool. I don't have a very strong accent.

  • Ahh you make me wanna jump onto the next airplane flying to england,

    i miss it soo bad,

i miss people having normal accents,

    americans just suck D;

    oh,

    you sex. XD

  • I'm Australian. =P haha

  • Haha! Awkward

  • definately pull rings.

can openers are hecticly hard to use...

  • A lot of people seem to think so. Personally I've never had trouble with them. =)

  • Heheheh Okie ]= Check out my stuff Leuke =)

  • Okay uhhmm don't know about Australia but our bus drivers over here in London tend to be anti-social and just drive, but you cant blame them considering the amount of abuse they get from passengers thinking they can hitch a free ride.

  • They're usually ok here. Bit as always, there's a mix.

  • Yeah Leuke!!Dont forget to be awsum!!! :DDDD YOU ROCK dunt change that.Add me sometime. 8D

  • I shan't. You too. =]

  • Your definition of extravagance amuses me greatly.

I haven't watched any of your vlogs for aaages!! I'm still subscribed aswell so i have loads of emails telling me what you've posted :)

This was a really good one i enjoyed it :)

and YES it is SO wierd when bus drivers wear high visibility jackets.

i can drive now so i dont usually take the bus because it takes an hour instead of 20 minutes to get to where i want to be and it's really expensive LONG MESSAGE

    good day xxxxxxx

  • Yeah now I have my license I drive most of the time. It's a bit more expensive, but it's nice to have some freedom.

  • Holy Moly.

Luke. You give a whole new insight to my life. It's like suddenly everything makes sense.

    (:

  • haha, if you say so. =P

  • woah that scared me for a minute i thought they actually killed the animals DDDDDD:

i was like OMG call the police they're killing animals!!!!!!

but then the guy said they didn't so it's all good.

    ;]

  • Yeah, no need for police calling. =]

  • deep stuff lol

  • Totally. =P haha

  • lol u ARE awesome buddy..to bad u liv in tas lol...went there the start of this year...it was cold

  • It's never cold! =P Always just right.

  • i both love and am disturbed why what people will ignor on the bus or at the bus stop... i once at muy bus stop and a crazy guy screamed at his phone, threw it on the ground and jumped on it....no one reacted at all just watched....on the bus he then proceeded to throw random things around the bus, people were mumbling but nothing else, it was amazing

  • Yeah, I've noticed that... It's strange.

  • yeah but you don't want to usethe same can opeer on dog food tins and other human food tins. ross contamination = bad

  • This is true!

  • you know it's getting bad when you start talking about can openers.

  • xD lol

  • Small cans should stick with ring pulls, but i doubt you will see ring pulls on the 5 kg cans, and wouldn't be ideal either.

  • haha, that is so true. I didn't think about the giant cans. =P

  • I really enjoy watching your videos.

    DFTBA :)

  • Thanks, DFTBA!

  • Haha funny you should talk about cans and can openers... I don't own a can opener and make a point of only buying cans with pull rings.

BUT the other day a pull ring on a can broke, leaving me with no way to open the can... tragedy right?

So while in theory I agree we should just do away with can openers, they seem to be necessary every now and then... (on those occasions when you need one most, probably). Heh

  • It seems like such a hassle to have it all that time and hardly ever use it though.

  • So I'm feeling crappy cos I reckon I'm coming down with a virus, but this was totally entertaining & made me forget bout being sick- so thanks!

SOmetimes I'll cook up tinned soup, and I'll take out 2 cans, and 1 has a pull ring, and the other one doesn't! Whats up with that?

I take the bus alot, I've never heard or seen anything interesting much, I see that more when I look at other cars, or pedestrians!

  • If only I could make a video that lasted until you got better!

  • No worries, woke up the next day feeling almost 100%!

  • weird happenings on public transport is one of my favourite things. if I were a character in the sound of music, I would definitely sing about it.

  • xD haha!

  • Seriously, Leuke, you make my day every time I watch one of your videos.

Pff, I love your, "Pull rings AND tin openers seem a bit extravagant," ahaha.

    (:

  • =) I'm ever so glad!

  • sorry, but I had to say: you belong in one of those black and white 'olden day' movies saying things like, "I'm ever so glad."

    : ) ♥

  • pull rings are the way to go..... PULL RINGS FOR THE WIN !

  • Yeah, they've definitely won.

If you go into the store there should be no can openers on the shelves by tomorrow.

  • The puppy bones story was quite hilarious.

    :D

  • =P hehe

  • your always awesome

  • Aww, thanks! ^^

  • Taking a bus ???

I thought you got a car recently....

whats up with that huh? Well I'm waiting.....

Sitting here.... waiting... for your answer...

    I'm so lonely.....having no life

It's so hard typing this with out laughing It can get tiring struggling against reality all the time.

    DFTBA! FTW!

  • Bus's are still fun. Public transport is a great thing, I sometimes feel like a bit of a snob driving, so I like to catch the bus now and then.

  • I'm a twin and we like the same style clothes but hate wearing the same thing, we do our best to wear things that don't look the same when we go out, but like you said, same genes, can't really help if we look the same.

    pull rings get my vote

  • Similar is alright. =)

I'm pretty sure pull rings have won.

  • alot like a show i saw on Hamish & Andy on B105

it was the exact same topin over age twins.

  • Twins seem to a popular topic. =P

    What's B105 btw?

  • its brisbanes most popular radio station.

  • Ah ha!

  • bus drivers wear those jackets probably because when they get at of the bus at the station they can walk around and change the bus they drive without getting hit by umm...a bus

  • That seems to be it.

  • Leuke ... I just love listening to you. :]

  • haha =P

  • I think all the crazy conversations I have overheard in my life have been on buses :-P and I agree about the high vis. vests, but knitting takes it to a whole new level :-P

  • That seems to be the place to hear them. =D

  • I love you. XDD your so awesome hahaha

  • Aw thanks! =P

  • Come to Brisbane pleaase :D!

    I beg you x3.

I'm on my knees here :P

  • you should buy a chair then, they're so much more comfortable. :P

  • It's a long way away! But I do want to do a youtube road trip, so maybe! =P

  • Huzzah :DD

  • Blue undies FTW!

  • haha =P

  • Crazy day! Lolz

  • You bet it was!

  • i vote for can openers. pull rings creep me out, i always get scared im gonna slice my finger...and they suck coz when you pull them the stuff inside usually flies all over you -.-

  • One of the few that like the old school can opener!

  • I said "don't forget to be awesome" at the same time you did & by habit I also opened my mouth for a number of seconds and put my arms up in a comical fashion! I do that quite often! & you did it toooo oh my goshhh!

    p.s Awesome anecdotesss

  • Brilliant! haha

  • I have a twin, and I dress kinda the same as her, because we like and dislike the same types of clothes, but we have different hair styles and never look identical.

And you just reminded me, I need to go buy some frozen mice for my snake.

  • FROZEN MICE?!?!?!?

  • i really enjoy your videos!

  • Huzzah!

  • The story about the twins sounds like that thing hamish and andy were talking about! :)

  • Do they hate twins aswell? =P

  • Aww no they don't hate twins! Haha, they just think identical twins shouldn't dress the same at a certain age.

Someone emailed in saying that they saw identical twins (old ladies) who dressed the same and had the same haircut and everything! (It could be the same ones you were talking about.)

So they had this segment about identical twins. :)

  • Wow, I realised I worded that terribly. I don't hate twins. xD

  • haha don't worry, I won't tell the twin community :P

  • Thank you <3

  • double image. lol.

  • about the cans, i think they should put those pull rings, see my dad gets this cat food without the rings which annoys me cause i cant open them, coz i cant really use a can opener, so to open them i need to use a hammer and a something sharp ugh and its takes me ages just to open 1 can of cat food

  • I think it would be easier for you to learn how to use a can opener, lol.

  • this made my day :)

  • =] I'm glad!

  • It's the law in this country (uk) for bus drivers to have one of those jackets in the bus and i think in France everybody has to have one in their car but there is nothing saying they need to war it

  • I can see why they need one, but it seems odd to wear it all the time.

  • thanks but we dont dress alike

  • come again?

  • Haha.. 'tis a strange world we live in... On the subject of bus driver attire though, the bus drivers in Cairns all wear floral shirts on Fridays and a standard blue uniform every other day of the week... I have no idea why. Festive Friday maybe? o_O

  • That is freaking amazing!!!!!

  • The bus driver wearing high visibility was warning other drivers that she was knitting

*Kill them while they are young because theyre delicious* Classic!

  • =P haha

  • BFTBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rofl if my kids are twins and i see them when theyre older dressed the same i will tell them off :D hahahaha

  • Good! =P

  • lots of tin tomatoes need a tin opener

  • Yeah, do you think they should be pull ringed?

  • nah because i have much more fun using the can opener, i feel all manly and string, which is a weird thing for a girl to think... oh well:D on a side note a friend from my school reminds me of you, i wrote killertoothbrush on his arm the moment i realized this.

  • haha, it's true! they're fun.

  • lmao. xD

it is kinda freaky when you see senior citizen twins dressing the same and stuff...lol

    DFTBA!!!! :D

ps: I FREAKIN LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!

  • It's very odd.

    Thanks!

  • LMFAOO

this story made my dad=y =D

    oo and btw

    lovin the tie =] x

  • Thanks!! =D

  • i think everything should be pull ring.

    its easier lol.

  • It's decided!

  • did you get the high visibility jacket from jimmy0010...

  • No, but I believe many people have made the observation. =]

  • hahahaa

soft drinks kinda have pull rings though??

wouldn't that be weird if you had to use a can opener to drink a can of soft drink aha

  • lol, that would be brilliant!

  • and everyone would carry a can opener in their bags or in their pockets. and they could be personalised!!

    hahahah

  • I know some twins who are almost 19 and still dress the same.

I've known them since they were 5, and the only thing differently is the colour of their shirts

  • Crazy stuff!

  • loved the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    everything was so true haha

um yeh i WAS SSRSLY THINKING THE SAME THING ABOUT CANOPENERS havnt used one in agesss ayyee

  • Glad you liked it! =D

  • yeah i dont get why twins would want to willingly dress the same

pull rings r mostly on fast food, apparently using a can opener isnt fast enough. the rest of the stuff is regular cos they stay in the pantry longer.

    dftba

  • Rgeular and fast... hmm, maybe.

  • i was getting a bowl for my puppy at the pet store and saw the pig snouts

    freaked me out :S

  • They're a bit freaky.

  • Grumpy Undies??

    bahahaha

  • =P hehe

  • lol ''it's like deju vu...or double image''. Come to sydney for chris's bday! Hope your fabulous!

  • I wish I could! I'm going to be in Melb a few days before, I think 2 trips in a week would be a bit excessive.

  • OH&S prob requires you to wear the yellow thing when the buss drivers are making there way to there assined buss in the yard so they dont end yo geting run over

  • Yeah, that seems to be the idea.

  • Hilarious! This completely made my day! :) Thanks Leuke!

  • I'm ever so glad!

  • im an identical twin, my sister and i havnt worn the same clothes since we were about 7. i cut my hair short too so i would stop getting in trouble when my sister got up to misschefe. i wish i could spell mischeife right... *sigh*

we're 16 now and sometimes we come home from a shopping trip to find we both bought the same clothes even though we go shopping without each other. she always makes me take mine back... *double sigh*

  • Aww, you seem to be getting the raw end of the deal. =P Hang in there.

I think I'll have to come and meet you next time I'm in your part of the country. =D

  • Omg, PUPPY BONES D8< .... Bus drivers here use a white shirt, a blue tie.. and black pants .___. ... boring bus drives, they creep me out e__e But yeah i totally agree, whats the deal with can opener if we already got that thing to pull it open with either way? .___. ... maybe its for the people who are to weak to open the cans? ô___O

  • Boring bus drives are so dull!

  • i would've expected it to at least be red undies, that would've made SOME sense

    don't forget to be awesome

  • You're right. I wouldn't have even thought about it if they were red.

  • Bus drivers think Their So Cool......

  • It's true! haha

  • If it makes you feel any better, public bus drivers here were black and navy blue jackets. Never have they worn anything high-visibility. And if they're feeling sporty they might wear their blue cardigans. I actually really like cardigans. (Irrelevant, I know but I thought I'd mention it).

  • I feel so much better! =D Thanks.

  • i love leuke lets bonk

    always happy go lucky guy

  • lol

  • Hahahah I loved this video. Its weird over hearing other peoples conversations out of context. I wish I was a twin. I'd dress exactly the same way too. Just to freak out ppl like you =P

  • Yeah, it can be one of the oddest things.

  • Your smile is entirely too infectious. Also, PUPPY BONES! Because every loving owner wants their pooch to be a cannibal. :D

Can openers are the devil. >_>

  • haha, most people seem to want to lose the can openers. =P

  • Canberra bus drivers always have their neon jackets on... their windows are tinted. The jackets hurt my eyes, I'm pretty sure thats the point.

  • xD lmao, that sounds like a very valid point for them.

  • I'm wearing my good video watching undies.

  • Clever. =P Thanks.

  • LMAO. I can't believe you thought "puppy bones" weren't bones for puppies...

And yes can openers are lame. Down with them. DOWN, I say.

  • =P Lamb bones aren't for lambs. lol

Yeah, I think the pull rings are winning.

  • I was walking past this store that sold high visibility stuff and it occurred to me... They don't wear it to be seen on the bus, it is a safety precaution after they park the bus in the depot (sometimes late at night) so they don't get run over by other buses!

  • You know when your listening to a good storyteller - first when you want to hear more. and after you've heard it you can't help but think of what you just heard much later. if i knew you we'd migth talk each other into our graves, LOL.

Riding public transportation is always a adventure.

  • Story telling is fun! =D

  • haha jimmy0010 reference, with the jackets? i agree, no tabs and non-tab cans existing at the same time. i can't really remember the last time i used a can opener actually....

  • It wouldn't surprise me, it sounds like one of the things he'd rant about. =P

  • I think I have had that driver! The knitting one.

  • haha, brilliant! =P Good to know she's still going at it.

  • Dude I love your accent.We should make vid's together.Haha peace.

  • Thanks. =P

  • I like pull rings it's more convinant..

That and also people are just lazy these days..

  • Yeah I'm torn, pull are great but on some crappy ones the ring breaks off, then you're stuck.

  • Haha your not stuck unless you bash it against something but then again you could have really awful mess to clean.

  • my red undies are my cranky undies

  • xD haha, brilliant!
