Okay uhhmm don't know about Australia but our bus drivers over here in London tend to be anti-social and just drive, but you cant blame them considering the amount of abuse they get from passengers thinking they can hitch a free ride.

i both love and am disturbed why what people will ignor on the bus or at the bus stop... i once at muy bus stop and a crazy guy screamed at his phone, threw it on the ground and jumped on it....no one reacted at all just watched....on the bus he then proceeded to throw random things around the bus, people were mumbling but nothing else, it was amazing

Small cans should stick with ring pulls, but i doubt you will see ring pulls on the 5 kg cans, and wouldn't be ideal either.

Haha funny you should talk about cans and can openers... I don't own a can opener and make a point of only buying cans with pull rings.

BUT the other day a pull ring on a can broke, leaving me with no way to open the can... tragedy right?

So while in theory I agree we should just do away with can openers, they seem to be necessary every now and then... (on those occasions when you need one most, probably). Heh

Someone emailed in saying that they saw identical twins (old ladies) who dressed the same and had the same haircut and everything! (It could be the same ones you were talking about.)

I was walking past this store that sold high visibility stuff and it occurred to me... They don't wear it to be seen on the bus, it is a safety precaution after they park the bus in the depot (sometimes late at night) so they don't get run over by other buses!
