It's hard to hear what's happening here? I assume the Porsche lets off pretty quickly or the Evo has some insane 'fast and the furious' nitrous kit installed?

My completely standard 420hp 996 turbo was NOTICABLY faster than an Evo X because of the torque from almost twice the capacity. Nothing against the Evo (very quick car) it just cannot be as fast as a 500hp 996 if it's not as fast as a 420hp one.. unless it's a lot more than 400hp.

400hp X and its NOT tuned...I gotta call bull$hit.....the only way your at 400whp or over is w/ a upgraded turbo, and theres no way you're running on the street with that upgrade and you're NOT tuned.....

@basslover352 money is not always the factor. Fun is the factor. If he wants more fun and not luxuries he would buy the evo. Evo is a pure fun car (drag, timeattack etc.)

Perfect 4x4, power, torque, every day car. Porsche is more luxury.

On the other hand, if money is the factor gtr>porsche as value for money imo

@Notrends i will agree with you on the gtr. In terms of mods Porsche does allow for more hp gain because of its increased displacement but usually tuning is a lot more and they are not as well supported as evos. Also Porsche guys are less likely to mod and their are alot less of them so modded ones are rare. Im not a big fan of the sound of the evo. id take the sti or wrx first with the uber rumble.
