And so many of those stupid rally races against other cars, instead of proper point to point rally racing, which is why i bought the damn game....
Point to point rally racing is what made the first DiRT game so good, and all the other Colin Mcrae games before it...

What really gets me about DiRT 2 is the servere lack of tracks... There is f*** all... You have stage one and stage two, then stage three is the same as stages one and two joined together, then stage 4 is the reverse of one of the stages.... That doesnt cut it.

Great trailer. Attention Block bashers; I agree he's an average rally driver and more concerned with marketing his brand. That's why I would suggest Codemasters switch to Tanner Foust to give the game direction because he's a more legit driver. Now I'm sure there are better non-US drivers. I just don't know who they. Final note: Codemasters totally mismanaged Dirt 3 DLC.
Ken block and and the sellouts at codemasters can suck my shit through a sweaty sock if they think i'm gonna spend money to buy cars that should be in the game you pay $60 for!
@svdpsy This is just the way DLC works these days, it isn't likely to change any time soon. Remember these are businesses, they exist to make money. They also don't actually owe you anything, its your own decision whether or not to buy their product. That said though, I do wish games companies wouldn't do stuff like this with DLC, it'd be a lot nicer

Group B wasn't sophisticated at all, it was brute force with little control around corners. That's why today's cars post faster times. The fact that it was unsophisticated made it awsome.
For that time the handling was much better than what has ever been used before (quattro, mid-engined, etc). Nowadays it is better, thanks to evolution of those Gp B techniques and electronics. Engines and such where complicated indeed, although now electronics and ALS makes it all better. Think of Rallycross cars for modern Gp B...
Hearing from you guys that the cars advertised here, specially the 205 T16 Peugeot and Lancia Delta S4, not included in the game, INSTEAD it's a dlc -- that sounds like FRAUD.
Please Codemasters. If there will be a 4, don't bring DLC's to the game. Why the hell would you leave out Monte Carlo and fantastic Group B cars? The Gymkhana part fucking sucked and it should be a DLC, no, it shouldn't be in the game! It should be 100% rally, not 65%! I'm sorry if I'm cursing. But DLC's makes me furious.

I like how you can see the splitters on some cars go through the ground and not get bent, that would seem like a no brainer if I was designing the game. But I still love playing it

When I first saw this trailer I said that I am going to buy this for the S4.Now that I heard about DLCs,and the S4 being in one,I lost faith in Codemasters.As time goes on I lose faith to more and more game devs which I thought would never change.
This game is great for about 2 days, then you realise the rally tracks are all similar and that the handling is shite compared to say Richard Burns Rally, I really wish I hadn't bought it, if you are after a simulation then don't even think about this game.

Codemasters, you're a bunch of cash-chasing whores. Colin's name made me buy Dirt 1. It wasn't a "sim" like RBR, but it was pretty good with some hacks applied (braking, steering, traction, etc.). Once you announced Dirt2 with that showoff Block - who can't even finish a race in WRC without crashing - I expected it to be the worst arcade piece of shit ever. Can't say I was wrong.
Now this? Group B is sacred, take your greasy palms off it.
Guys and Girls.. As I'm sure you all are, I'm very annoyed the fact the 205 T16 and the Lancia Delta S4 advertised here aren't included in the game. I would suggest if we all email codemasters and express are frustration they may even issue these 2 cars for free..

@SLRMC93 If you actually look at the game title, it doesn't say 'Colin McRae's DiRT3' it just says 'DiRT3'. DiRT2 paid a tribute to McRae, but the fact of the matter is... he died. They're not gonna keep naming a game after a dead bloke. Also, how is Block a sellout? I'm pretty sure it was Gymkhana and the publicity that came with it that got him into the WRC in the first place... That'd be like saying the winner of The X Factor is a sellout for going on The X Factor.

The guy was a fucking legend, Block is just a gymkhana driver, yes hes good at gymkhana, but hes TERRIBLE at rally racing, but yet he still tries to publicize himself anyway he can, by claiming that hes one of the best RALLY racers out there because he does gymkhana, and has a shit load of sponsors, however the highest hes placed in WRC was 19th place.

This game is great for about 2 days, then you realise the rally tracks are all similar and that the handling is shite compared to say Richard Burns Rally, I really wish I hadn't bought it, if you are after a simulation then don't even think about this game.

@NottinghamForest22 This is part of the Mcrae seres that he started, it doesnt have his name on the cover but it's still Colin Mcrae Dirt 3. Codemasters fucked up Dirt 2 but theyve went back to rally and by god have they done it well!

I can't believe there putting all cars they took out on the last minute before release on the marketplace now. F**king Codemasters the greedy bastards, you even need a "VIP" pass for online play after I pay Microsoft £40 per year for gold membership. I've got through about 80% of the career now and I'm extremely bored of those bloody buggy races. I also love how they use a charity to sell those MK2 escorts on the marketplace aswell. "All funds go to the charity" my arse, more like Codemasters!!

@feedingfrenzy123 I'm pretty sure they do give the money to the Mcrae charity or whatever it's called, seeing as you know, it's illegal for them not to if they say it's for charity. Just putting it out there. There's even a code number for the charity up there on the advert : / And it's now just Codies that do this DLC content now, most big publishers do it. Not saying it's right, just don't be frothing at the mouth about Codies alone

Codemasters, you're a bunch of cash-chasing whores. Colin's name made me buy Dirt 1. It wasn't a "sim" like RBR, but it was pretty good with some hacks applied (braking, steering, traction, etc.). Once you announced Dirt2 with that showoff Block - who can't even finish a race in WRC without crashing - I expected it to be the worst arcade piece of shit ever. Can't say I was wrong.
Now this? Group B is sacred, take your greasy palms off it.
Go make some iphone farming game or something.

Guys and Girls.. As I'm sure you all are, I'm very annoyed the fact the 205 T16 and the Lancia Delta S4 advertised here aren't included in the game. I would suggest if we all email codemasters and express are frustration they may even issue these 2 cars for free..

Wow what cheap bastards. They remodel the S4 and 205 t16 and then they go and decide to try and make more money by leaving the cars out and offering them as dlc. I bought this game because they advertised the Delta S4, now I have to spend more money just to race one of my favorite cars.
They should have left out Ken Blocks Fiesta, but I guess they realized no one would download it because he sucks ass.

@OHyeaSCISSOR They should have just focused on Group B Rather than whatever the hell "Gymkhana" is, all I know is ITS NOT RALLY RACING, when I saw this trailer, my excitement was out of control, then I got it only to realize that 4 out of the 6 cars in this trailer are actually playable, even COLIN MCRAE'S Ford Escort cost money! Did they forget who's name is in the game? I bet they wanted to rename it Ken Block's Dirt, fucking sellout, he should stick to skidding in parking lots.

@SLRMC93 If you actually look at the game title, it doesn't say 'Colin McRae's DiRT3' it just says 'DiRT3'. DiRT2 paid a tribute to McRae, but the fact of the matter is... he died. They're not gonna keep naming a game after a dead bloke. Also, how is Block a sellout? I'm pretty sure it was Gymkhana and the publicity that came with it that got him into the WRC in the first place... That'd be like saying the winner of The X Factor is a sellout for going on The X Factor.

@samopollo but its part of the COLIN MCRAE RALLY series, and you think that just cause hes dead, he shouldn't be remembered? The guy was a fucking legend, Block is just a gymkhana driver, yes hes good at gymkhana, but hes TERRIBLE at rally racing, but yet he still tries to publicize himself anyway he can, by claiming that hes one of the best RALLY racers out there because he does gymkhana, and has a shit load of sponsors, however the highest hes placed in WRC was 19th place.
