  • my friend....djembe is from GUINEE AND THE wood you use in Ghana is like a sponge ,so is not good at all.

  • Nice! I am planning on making my own Djembe drum and I wasnt sure if I was going to make the shell from a log or boards. This way is more solid, traditional, and would be in some ways easier for me. Thanks!
