This game was never released because blizzard realized that they coulnd't save it.. it was just a bad game.

@imdeceptacon really, it stopped be cause of development problems occurring and 1 of the company's died off in the middle of making the game, and then all the shit about the Wii and 360 and PS3 started. so they stopped. it's possible it's going to be revived for this generations consoles.

@imdeceptacon I know why it was bad. The Siege Tank commander said, "Delighted to, SIR!" when he should have addressed Nova as "Ma'am". We all know that's just rude.

@StormStarcraft2 mostly because WoW came up and ate most of blizzard's time for many years.. hopefully it will be revived after diablo 3 and the zerg+protoss campaigns for starcraft 2 are released. i heard about plans to make it available on ps3 and xbox 360 but that may just be wishful thinking..

@pudgeypigeon Believe it or not, the original game was suppose to have launched on the Gamecube. They even have a Gameinformer which i believe advertised reserving it already (not sure about this)

@woskxn7 Because Blizzard officially put the project on hold a while ago. You can find the information all over the place. there is an official press release somewhere, though I doubt its on blizzards site anymore.

This is not a little known fact. Almost every starcraft fan is strongly aware of this. Blizzard claimed as recently as a year ago they are not giving up on starcraft Ghost and may continue it in the future.
