I have a problem! I install blackra1n on my 2g Ipod touch and it doesn`t work ! I have the blackra1n app but when I install cydia it gives me an error like the Wifi connection is timed out. I`ve reseted network settings and my wifi router . I even installed blackra1n for three times and the error still persists:|

I have tried this several times and always end up with a screen showing the usb cable pointed at the itunes logo. I tried the double button reboot and all it does is come back to that screen.....what the heck am I doing wrong....it is a 16 gs 3.1.2 brand new....restores fine tho'!!!

Restoring from iTunes should fix it. You can remove blackra1n inside of blackra1n. Theres an option to do it.

Jailbreaking does slow down your iPhone if you install alot of Themes or other Jailbroken mods. But if you don't it should stay the regular speed.

No only the Ipod touch 3G was tethered. It should work fine.

idk like when ever i plug it in like it automatically enters recovery mode and on itunes identifies it as in recovery mode this happen when ever i turn it off o and i have a 2g touch

Thats probably because its a 3G. Are you sure its a 2G? Thats what 3G's do, a tether jailbrake.

No, this is weird. Its happening to mine to. Making this a "Tethered Jailbrake" BUT i can reboot my ipod just fine. Heres whats going on i believe: Its not totally jailbroken, as in. Un-tethered. No big deal, just run it again until its rebootable. No biggy

You can backup your apps with iTunes. And it will save all of them, then you can restore after you jailbrake.
