Resident Evil is mindblowing! 2 and 3 are just something else, they still scare the complete fuck out of me and just the feeling of nolstagia from them is great. They still look soo good too! Music is amazingly dark and eerie, wonderful soundtrack! I can just enjoy listening to the music or watching someone else play ,the games are just that good. The RE movie adaptations in general are missing that Resident Evil feeling we find in video games or should I say the creepy atmosphere. Had I been the film director, I would've went into completely opposite direction (survival horror) than what the current movie franchise has to offer (action packed flick shooter). Fans should makes movies, not people who played games for 1-2 hours.

@Whinestee Usually I don't mind a few changes but what gets me steamed up is when they change things so dramatically that it can barely be recognized as what it is supposed to represent - hence Resident Evil coming out as some cliche action film. There was some Resident Evil elements but nothing notable. I think you bring up a good idea, fans should be making the movie but that alone wouldn't make the movie anyless likeable but fans tend to know more about story plots than most.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. RE3 is the scariest RE of all time. The way the game uses the atmosphere and the areas against you and preys on your mind because you don't know what could be lurking around the corner or next room is genius. RE3 is just as much a psychological battle as it is a action game. If they do go ahead with the rumored Wii remake (which I hope they don't. I'd prefer PS3) they better do the creep factor justice.

Absolutely chilling theme. When the songs for the RE games were made they were made with the intention to make the listeners afraid, lose hope, and become hesitant.

This song accomplishes all 3 and more. The composer's for these games were simply brilliant, they did for the RE games what Nobuo Uematsu did for Final Fantasy, make them epic.

Resident Evil 3 was the best Resident Evil game. It had the best sound effect, the best music, the best gameplay, and I actually think it looked better than Code Veronica. The fixed camera angles really added to the horror aspect. Resident Evil 4-5 are good, but will never be as good as the originals.

No, to me this song epitomises the horror inwhich has been created in the aftermath.

The silence in the wind, the distant groans, the ever apparent feat of progress further through the deserted, bloody destroyed streets, seeing the forced barricades of woods and mattresses to cover doors. It resembles desperation through desertion.

Its what made Resident evil what it was before 4 and 5. blindness to what going to happen next. With 15 bullets in your gun, and 7 zombies facing you.

Also, this music mixes well with the foot step sounds the game has when you walk over glass. The crunching of the glass, I always wished that if they remade it, noise would play a factor, such as the crackling of the glass alerting zombies to your presence.
