1) a fight WILL end up on the ground, a bjj fighter can deal with that

2) you can not only fight there, but also beat guys way bigger, guys that thaiboxers and wrestlers couldnt beat

3) you dont hurt urself like in kickboxing. punch somebody bareknuckled and you can break ur own hand

but there ARE ways to unarm another guy, not all are ineffective, but most of them show an unrealistic scenario.

Lesnar relies too much on his strength. True, his punch made a lot of damage than Mir. You can see how swell Mir's face is only after receiving a couple short punches. But simply yanking out your leg is not a good way to escape a leg lock. He forgot Mir is a rather strong guy and when he isolate only one thing at a time, Lesnar can't escape regardless he is twice as strong as Mir.

I have to agree, the fight was going in Lesnar's favor up until the leg lock. But Lesnar definitely didn't slip. It was a 100% deliberate submission. I think Lesnar can do well, his wrestling is fantastic, he's insanely strong, and he's got some solid ground and pound. But I don't think he's good enough or ever will be good enough to be in title contention.
