@ironwolfosiris yea those could be hard to find, it was alot of work doing what i did lol wasnt really easy as pie, took me forever to get the memory card to read on my computer, i ended up using xplorer 360 to transfer the files unstead of action replay's software. but yea i think your idea would work if you can find one id say go for it.

i hacked my xbox for like 3 bucks, i soldered a usb cable to the memory card. and put the sid installer saves on the card and loaded them on mechassault, easy as pie.

You can easily add music by using the original Dashboard (if you still have it) or a FTP client/server. Also, UnleashX still plays the music from your "Xbox Soundtracks" data, but it doesn't write to that data. If you use DVD2Xbox (app that comes bundled in most softmods with UnleashX), you can convert a music CD to its own folder on the HDD. I prefer not to bother with the original dashboard's music system, but it's necessary if you want the custom soundtracks in some games.

I made a few skins/themes for UnleashX. You can find them on my site. Also, if you weren't aware, the average softmod save doesn't include the latest UnleashX and should definitely be updated. Oh, and there's a common skin glitch in old versions.

Hi! Ive installed UnleashX succesfully and everything works fine. I have a working FTP network over the Xbox but I have a problem. I want to install XBMC as a app, but when I try to search the app folder from the xbox E: drive, there is no app folder. Ive tried to create a new app folder to E: and move the XBMC to there, but with no success. It wont show upon the applications selection.

it isn't modded! 50000+ means its 7gb/8gb. Thats the original space for the xbox hdd. And the games inside are just saves, not the real thing. If the xbox, if you can see a thing like EvoX, Unleash X or XBMC. then its modded, if not...its not modded

But if you softmodded your xbox: put the cd you used to softmod your xbox either Splinter Cell, 007 or MechAssualt. Load the linux profile again. And it should boot to the linux mode, then you can turn off or uninstall the softmod

You need to relocate the right dashboard which is in E→Dashboard→defualt.xbe

Yes. You need a router, ehternet cable, and a computer with ftp installed onto it. It is also a free program that takes a few seonds to download. have fun once you figure it out

no...thats if you use the right softmod. The best is Krayzie's Ndure. it allows you to do a multiboot/dualboot. That can turn on or off the softmod. Once off, you can now access Xbox Live.

If you use Krazyie' Ndure, the linux installer comes with some extras like Dvd Dondle. Its a dvd player that allows you to play dvd without the remote. And you can play a wmmv movie file on your Dashboard. Go to File Manager→(what ever folder you ftp your video to.

To get music off your Xbox. You need XBMC for this. You have to find the music sourc, add it to a folder, and when you ar ftping you should see them. Because the music folder is hidden
