Again, the general thrust of the t-shirt is sadistic and it should be viewed in much the same way as a shirt saying: "pedophiles agree, they love little kids....so abort"

The thrust of the sayings pushes responsibly to the wrong target. With the saying, supporting weapons , murder victims are demonized and in my example kids are demonized. Both sayings push for a change in the VICTIM and leave to criminal totally alone.

i am very much liberal, so I do believe in gun control. But for me, it is not a matter of just gun control in general, it is a matter of what types of gun control are tightened, and which types are loosened. i believe permitted people should be allowed to carry anywhere, while a database for the mentally ill should be part of the gun purchase system.

Owners of property can and do ban guns from their properties. These are examples of free citzens addressing items which are the leading method of murder within the US.

I want to post a few fact to combat this hatefullness of blaming victims for crime.

Chicago, a gun control heaven, had lowest number of homicides in more than 40 years. Police state the one of the reasons is a crack down on guns. Yet on contrast, Miami had huge increase because a flood of assault weapons. Baltimore had its very bloody year because of access to guns. New York saw massive drops because of restrictive guns laws.

Lets say i am a valid carrier of a handgun and you decide to go shoot up a store that i am in or maybe just try and rob it, I would hold you at gunpoint until the cops arrive, if you try to run I would shoot you for that is legal where I live. And i am for a very little form of arms control, I think the citizen has the right to own and small arms that do not explode. Read both sides of the story before you make generalizations and statements you may learn something.
