@CZTUTORIALS učili nás základy Mayi a taky pár dalších softwarů (Photoshop, Ilustrator, Premiera, Aftery..) Ale nic do hloubky.. takže co mě zajímalo jsem se učil sám. Měl jsem zaměření multimediální design. Takže spíš než u plátna se počítalo, že budem sedět u kompu, ale bylo to dost indivuduální.

dude what parts were maya and what were AE? Im exrtremely curios because i want to find out what would be better for video cgi stuff, like transformers and stuff, idk if maya or 3ds max would be better for that stuff, like creating a whole world with it and then put me in a green screen walkin around in it? With like 3d creatures that look really realistic, what program would be best for that between 3ds max and maya, (name one of those and maybe something better then both)

@webmaster720 Hi man, the most of parts are made in AE. You can make amazing videos in AE, but any properly 3D models. So if you want make realistic look transformers, you should learn 3D software. I am using Maya, but it's depending on you, in both softwares you can make PRO stuff. Maybe Maya is more easy to learn. Anyway if you want make shots, full of CGI combine with real footages you have to know both, i mean 2D and 3D. In 3D you will make models and animation. In 2D you will composite it.

2. Are you going to a school for this? Or you, like me, learn everything from web guides?

Hi... thanks for nice message. I used AE about two years, but if you want you can learn this software very fast. Especially if you will learning form videocopilot. On this site is very good tutorials. And about school... no a havn't any school for film or animation.

I work with visual effects aswell, and that specifik part is probably a couple of days non-stop work, depending on how much time you out into it, and how good you want it to look. We are making a short movie project atm here in Umeå , Sweden, and its supposed to be around 10 minutes long, give or take 2-4 minutes, and the estimated time to finish is about 6 months - 1 year.

thanks very much :) Box is made in 3D software Maya. Actually it is very simple, i made 3D prmitive cube and insert to it text layer wich i extruded.
