@BigBreadeur yeah, in order to get the 'Heavy Metal' reference you had to have been born in the 70's at the latest 'cause this came out in 1981. So really only people who are in their 40's or older could have got the reference when the south park episode aired. I'm 20 and I found it annoying when my dad understood the spoof of heavy metal and then patronized me for being "too young to understand". Thanks for pointing out we're not all 12 year old kids :)

I sat and watched this movie on TV around 2003 I think it was. and the more I sat the more blowen away I was with how fantastic it was. All the varied animation styles from other Directors and the content. This movie had enough to spane several top quality series on TV. They'd be lucky to come up with one good character for a film now nevermind all this from Heavy metal. A total classic. i'm not a fan of rock music either but I really enjoied it in this flick.
