As long as you're not using the program to identity theft or steal, it won't cause trouble with you and the police. Messing with someone's Facebook, E-Mail, YouTube Account, and etc... isn't illegal. @atmospheere ok thats the bad thing about firesheep it doesnt work well on wep or wpa networks like home networks because they are very secure if you change your router settings to make your network a little looser it might work but this is mainly for free public wifi like what you would find in a starbucks
