I agree with I didn't like 90% of the game being Hip Hop, but that's where turntablism came from and that's where most of it's fanbase is (would have been amazing to have Zabiela in this game)

DJ Hero was created for the "urban market" that Rockband/Guitar Hero didn't appeal too, that is also another deciding factor as to why most of it is Hip Hop and not House nor Trance (or Dub or DnB)

you do know grand master flash invented the turn table when he used his mom's old jazz and blues records to scratch. tun tablism first used hiphop cuz gran master flash n others was surrounded by the uprising of hiphop at that time. trance, techno, dnb, etc was used later after hiphop.
