this is my favorite christmas movie and i have been looking for it on DVD because i want to have and i watch this movie when i was growing u and please tell me where i can buy the movie from
Same here. i have been looking for this movie for sooo long. I remember catching it on Tv, but was never able to get it on vhs or dvd.... thanks. I enjoy this movie a lot and it brings back old times.
I have tried and tried and tried to find this movie. You have made my day! And it's a sunny day mid June and I'm thrilled to watch this! Thank you so much!!!
This is my all time favorite Christmas Movie. I have it on VHS, but I know longer own a video player. My children grew up watching it and now I would love for my grand children to see this. Why hasn't it been made on DVD for us to see here in the good old USA???
If anyone is interested in a Region 1 version of this on DVD, send me a PM. I have the Region 2 version and can convert it to Region 1 for anyone who wants it. This is not available for sale anywhere in the United States.
This is my absolute favorite Christmas movie! Art Carney was the best Santa Claus! I was 5 when I first saw it and my mom taped it for me. 25 years later I still have the VHS and watch it every year. The quality of my copy is really bad so I'm thrilled to find it on YouTube. Thanks for sharing!!!
Currently there isn't. Just the Europe Region 2 version that was done last year. I was really hoping that they would have done it this year since it was the 25th anniversary.
A while back i spent almost 2yrs looking to buy this for my Mum, we loved it. Eventualy i found it on e-bay and sent of to America to get it for her. God bless her xxx
I can't believe this movie is here! I loved watching this moving growing up. It's definitely one of my favorite childhood movies. Thanks for uploading it.
Thanks a lot for uploading this. I think I'm going to download each video and burn a DVD so I can watch it more easily. Someone needs to try and contact the producer or director of the film and tell them this movie has a cult following and they should remaster it and produce a DVD. This is one of the best Christmas movies and I haven't been able to get into the spirit the same for years... I hope this will do it.
It was officially released in Europe on DVD. I think I got a DVD copy from ebay...I think. That is what this is from. It is obviously from a tape, but better than nothing. Glad you are enjoying it.
I love this movie. It's my own personal Christmas tradition to watch it. I saw it the first time around 1984 or 1985. When I was 10 or 11. And I watch it every year.
You are quite welcome. This is my all-time favorite childhood holiday movie. I HOPE it will come out on DVD this year (with it being the 25th anniversary).
I hope it comes out on DVD in the US as well. I ended up buying it on DVD in PAL/European format a few years ago, just to make sure I at least had a digital copy to compliment my VHS copy. Great movie. Anyway, thanks again!
Thank you so much for posting this!! My sister and I used to watch this movie when we were little. It used to never come on t.v. until ION and Comcast started showing it the past couple of years. The movie is a little corny, but it still makes me want to believe in Santa.
I loved watching this growing up. I watched it every December and I still do.
