  • This or the teknic xcelerator 2011 'roo model... Im 5'9" 160lbs...39" chest... Skinny legs..what size would u recommend? 50 teknic and 48 dainese???.im looking for the best suit under $1000...alpinestars are too loose on the legs...thx guys great vids..cheers :)

  • @TreeClimberChris Tough call dude. Both are really nice but we have to say the Teknic is really nice ; ) Give the Customer Service Team a shout for help with sizing!

  • thanks for the great review (yeah, red is quite catchy).

    i'm 5'9" and weigh in at 170 pounds with a 41" chest & 34/32.

will this suit fit me in 50 or 52?

to compare: an alpinestars sp-1 2pc suit fits me in 50 (in my opinion the sizing with this suit went wrog, 'cause on most suit that would be a 52).

  • @brennendeshaus correction: i'm 5'9" and weigh in at 170 pounds with a 41" chest & 32/32.

  • @brennendeshaus With your height and chest size, you should fall right in line with a size 52. This should also be spot on for your waist and inseam measurements. Of course, if you buy from us and the 52 doesn't work for you, we'll ship a size exchange for free. Cheers!

  • So as far as I can tell these race suits have protection built into them. Forgive me, I am new to the realm of motorcycling. Then apparently you can also buy armour as well. My question is, are you supposed to wear armour underneath a race suit with protection or no? I would think yes but I might be wrong. Is this an unorthodox practice. The more protection the better right? Just be sure to buy a suit that fits you well when wearing your armour as well right? Thanks in advance.

  • @mdmarshall17 Track suits like this are designed to be worn with certain added armor underneath, like back protectors. Many riders are now wearing add'l chest & back armor under their suits, like the Thorax Wave Pro, and some wear shorts (like the Pro Shorts) for hip protection. In that case, it's best to size your suit with those protectors on. The suit already has very high level shoulder, elbow, and knee/shin armor built in, so you won't need extra armor in those areas. Hope this helps! -Kat

  • Can you add a back protector to these suits? Whether it be this model or the 2011 model (if there is one)

  • @Pmason718 You can add a back protector (youll need to to hit the track) also this is the current model going into 2011.

  • @RevZillaTV Which back protector do you recommend for the suit

  • @Pmason718 Dainese Paraschiena Wave Back Protector :-)

  • @RevZillaTV ok thanks again

  • Entry level at $999.00 holy smoke

  • @JayzBeerz I know Jay. It's quite the gnarly base model. It's just so sick though. It really is.

  • @DucRacerX Amen brotha. That red suit is fast standing still.
