its the hopper my brother has one it doesint turn off because it dont have eyes in it if i where you i would get an eggy it will keep up with your gun and it will last a long time then get a j@j barrel 48 or 68 ci hp ninja tank then use hockey grip tape on the back of the tank so when you put it up to your sholder the tank wont slide around and its good for snap shooting good luck and have fun

yeah im going with xxTurtles12xx, you're going to screw up your gun if you keep using CO2, that liquid in the CO2 can get into your gun and mess it up, use compressed air, it's a whole lot better for your gun and it wont screw it up, granit it's less shot's but it's a lot better for your gun if you use compressed air!!

I have that same hopper cause it was cheap but it was loud!if u want to quiet it it's actually really easy.all u have to do is unscrew it and disassemble it.under the little feeder is the motor housing with a lot of empty space.I jam packed it full of cotton balls and just pit it back together.easy but it really muffles it

@GhostKid0201 I agree with sparkycpc. I would say forget the pilot. The G3 or G4 if you've got the money for em', but if not the Spyder Electra isn't bad. Plus it's really durable, Kingman isn't the greatest company but they make DURABLE markers.

I have had my 09 spyder electra for 4 months now and also a halo with the v35 chip and it will keep up with just about any gun out there i play speed ball with the stock barrel and i use my 20" j&j ceramic for woodland paintball and I can pritty much out preform most of the guns out there so for the price of under 200 bucks verses 1000-1500 I'll stick to the 09 spyder electra any day and put it up against almost any gun

Get a halo hopper and get lithium batteries for it. Ive been playing on the same battery pack for just under 4 months now and that is probably twice a week for 4 hours a day... you can't beat it. plus they are super quiet

Stop using c02 i used c02 cuz my nitro tank was coming in the mail and the o rings froze c02 leaked out of everyhole in the gun , it was frozen, luckily the board wasnt fried but i had to replace all the o rings , i was pretty lucky. SWITCH TO NITRO!!

it depends, for example: tippmann A5 is an excellent gun for woodsball, but when it comes to speedball, the spyder electra is way better, 'cause its faster, unless u put the E-grip on the tippmann. Hope this helps u!!

dont be fooled by the looks of this gun.. At first I thought this was going to be kingmans best marker and it woukd make people realize that somtimes spyders can be good. The first few months the marker worked well and I had no problems.. Then just as spyders usually do... it began to have some problems.. The asa stopped working and i had some major leaking going on.. If you are thinking about buying this gun I think the better choices would be either the Ion Xe or the Proto Slg. Way better..

Spyders aren't really bad guns at all. Once you tighten all your fittings, charge your batteries, and grab an anti-chop bolt setup and springs- maybe low pressure valve and run COMPRESSED AIR lol. Much like a car, it's what you do to them that makes them great or horrible. And while a cavalier (or spyder) will never beat a viper (or ego) It doesn't mean you can't make them fast and efficient- and that's what really counts.

the eyes is a laser that beams through the whole where the paintballs go eyes on a gun prevents you from chopping balls when balls on a hopper use ball movement to turn on the hopper

@snakeman6459 The BREAK BEAM eyes (there are two types) do not allow the bolt to ride forward, even when you're hammering on the electronic trigger, unless the laser they emit is broken. This can be done by something coming between one eye and the other (i.e. your finger or a paintball... preferrably a paintball. ) In other words, the bolt won't cut paintballs in half.
