Let me explain the traffic agent. Traffic agents consist of mostly blacks, hispanics, indians and some jews. From elementary school to high school they were picked on and bullied. They lack education so they can't own their own business. They have no balls, so they're not going to to be a real cop, fireman or paramedic. So they say what can I do that requires the least amount of work effort and will give me a false sense of authority? I'LL BE A TRAFFIC AGENT!!!!
First off in NYC it's a well know fact that you need to back in when a 90 degree parking rule is in effect. This is for safety of YOU and the public at large. Imagine you backing out during the rush hour. Common sense..... But since people in general never read signs to begin with...Perhaps pavement marking with arrows will help solve the issue.

Common sense tells me we all didn't agree to all get tickets (one of those being me since I live directly in front of this parking space) at the same time so if these many tickets were issued in a short period it was done with an ill intention.
You can't read, the sign wasn't posted an hour ago. You do like to lie, no agency would issue ticket on a new posted sign. You probably need glasses so you don't miss the sign post.

Why would D.O.T waist time to post a angle parking sign at night, it sure is dark outside from the looks of your video. That sign is not a quality of life violation. Common sense tells me:cops wanted to ABUSE 10 citizens who they knew would rather pay a ticket than waste an entire day at a court where they would be made wrong. It makes NO SENSE that 10 people would "accidentally" park their cars with out knowing this was the rule.They were given w/ no good will/intention in mind (to make their quota). IT MAKES NO LOGICAL SENSE. People ended up paying but it does not take away the fact that it is an abuse of authority and these things eventually fire back.

I witnessed this event as well and it was disgusting to see these traffic officers Mr Djavair and Mrs Owens and their supervisor avalanche over all the cars parked facing into the side walk so as to catch everysingle one of them before people could see them or try to move their car. I was fortunate to see them in action . Totally wrong practices from these officers taking advantage of innocent hard working citizens...unacceptable.
A hopelessness seems to have been taking over many when faced with this. I know that the law needs to be followed BUT NOT abused. 12 or so tickets, in less than 5 minutes is JUST NOT fair. They RUSHED to do this and simply DO NOT CARE...come on...why are they ignoring us? We are not the bad guys? so help. don't create antagonism and anger amongst citizens! Why are they creating ill-will around? Be fair and you'll receive a fair treatment, how about abiding by the GOLDEN RULE.
