@mcTEKKERS the Original. The one that started it all. And my favorite. The last Rocky is great to because he has a new challenge to beat: his age. And he wins again for the last time!
Best Movie ever made. Between the music selection and the thought Stallone put into this perfect trilogy this will go down as my personal favorite as all time.. Legendary
One of my all-time favorite scenes in film. I love when the full melody kicks in around 1:58. That's what sticks in my head when I think of this scene.
Powerful scene. Brings joy and tears to me. A true message in this scene even though there is no dialogue but its the idea that a person has to trust in himself and fight the odds to get where they want to get. WOW WHAT A SCENE.
I have to agree with Eric. I like this scene even more than the scene of Rocky triumphantly scaling the museum steps later (which is awesome). This scene carries something earnest and poignant, and despite the failure (gasping for air at the museum steps)--perhaps because of it--it makes my heart go out for Rocky, for the underdog challenger in us all. Love the raw gruntings. The raw-ness of truth, dream, and determination.
@popizm you are an amazing person to write what you wrote i too think of a scene in letter to btezhnev a few times a month, the scene which has elaine looking over the water, i play the musicin my head
this rocky scene is one of my fave rocky scenes xxx
i believe this is the best scene in all movies. This is the start of the legend, the will to get up at 400 and take a hard grueling run in a 28 degrees weather. So inspirational.
@ericrunningback i liked the scene where the loan shark drives away in the black car and Rockys left there walking down that long road with the black gating...
@ericrunningback i think I agree with you. This was the real Rocky, the bum who tries to beat the odds. The music is perfect because there is a sadness to watch this man struggling to accomplish something he knows everybody doubts he can. But he pushes on in spite of this obstacles and you just feel for him.

its rocky whos made me determined and give me inspiration love you rocky and you to rocky marciano 2 favirote boxers even though rocky balboa dosnt exist this scene makes me wanna jog in the mornin
@jib2182@gergej89 When he got the title shot, his boss let him take off from collecting debts to train. So, he only wakes up at 4am just for the hell of it. If you look up Mike Tyson's early training videos on youtube, you'll see he also went for a run at 4am every morning.
Love this scene so much! And that music when he has to get started.

His first attempt at the Philadelphia Art Museum's staircase, the start of a long, tough road.
This could have easily been the opening of the movie, followed by the fanfare theme and letters, then his fight with Spider Ricco.
